I was fearful that once the guys had their own room they would all but disappear from the Message Center. If true,and it seems to be, there goes half the fun. You really can't blame them for preferring to talk among themselves,(most professionals are the same) but I sure do miss them.

Since finding this site just months ago, and feeling elated to have a place to "go", I now find myself excluded from the chat room (my problem, I realize) and separated from the escorts. Please come back guys, at least to visit.

I was pissed enough and didn't post for a week myself, until last night, I think.

 

Someone a while back - I think it may have been Boston Guy, said something to the effect that if the postings were as vicious as they were becoming, the escorts just wouldn't post.

 

The Escort private area is not a hotbed of activity. There is NO blackballing going on. And there are VERY FEW who are even invited to be there. Mostly they talk about very personal issues that are none of my business, so I just make sure everyone is okay and I hit mark.

 

I know of several escorts that read this every day, but they don't post because they're afraid they'll be villified by people who have the talent of the written word and wield it like a sword.

 

When I read this Message Center, it's usually the last thing I do in the day -- around 3 am. I think I figured out the "profile" problem, at least for me: I have noticed that when the user's name is a single word, I get his profile with no difficulty. Examples: "Regina" (yeah, where is she?), or my own "liubit". When the user's handle has more than one word, I get the ominous "no profile exists". I am no techno either, but the software seems to pick only the first word in the handle, and does not recognize the user. For example, in the case of "Matt in Vancouver", I get "no profile exists for Matt". When I look up "Rick Munroe", I get "no profile exists for Rick", etc., etc. Mybe if Matt chose to be "MattinVancouver", I would not have the problem.
