MALDEN, Mass. — A 1-year-old motorist has been pulled over for driving without a license — but he got off with a “cuteness warning.”

Police in the Boston suburb of Malden say they staged the traffic stop Tuesday afternoon after spotting Grayson Salerno driving a red toy Mercedes convertible along a sidewalk.

An officer pulled his cruiser behind Grayson, switched on the blue flashing lights and pretended to write a ticket.

Photos and video of the incident have been widely shared on social media.

Grayson’s mother, Cori Salerno, says she’s tickled the mock misdemeanor has made so many people smile.

It’s doubtful the young offender understands the charge. He was wearing a T-shirt with the inscription: “I have literally no idea what you are saying.”

This mother duck marches her babies through a New York hospital every spring

This mama has all her ducks in a row.

Like clockwork, a mother duck from upstate New York marches her new babies through a hospital in the city of Canandaigua every spring. She did it again earlier this month and staff at the local Thompson Health center in Ontario County were prepared with signs and a camera to capture all the action.

“Every year, without fail, a mama duck chooses one of the enclosed courtyards at our M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center to lay her eggs and take care of her babies,” Thompson Health posted on its Facebook page. “She lets us know when she’s ready to go by tapping on the glass, and this morning, it was time for this annual rite of spring.”

The hospital noted that mama duck follows the same path every year and staffers help guide them along by holding large signs to prevent them from getting sidetracked and possibly wandering away from the hall and into rooms. “She has us trained,” one worker said, according to the post.

The waterfowl family, which included 13 ducklings this year, marched towards the light coming from a door down the corridor held open by assistant nurse manager Betsy Willard.

“The family headed out into a large park-like area behind the facility,” Thompson Health shared.

“Good luck, guys. We’ll miss you!”

This story just quacked me up!
