I am terrible sorry for my misunderstanding. I just want to clarify a few things.

  • I did not know pictures were not allowed. However, I assumed forum members did not want to be in a picture and tried to avoid them in the frames. I failed on that with @Robster and for that I am terribly sorry, I cannot apologize enough.
  • My intention was to take pictures only of the professionals.
  • I approached them with my phone up and asked them for a picture for my blog.
  • In two cases I was refused and didn't take those pictures.
  • I am learning now that some professionals didn't understand my request. If that is your case, please send me a PM and I will delete your picture asap this evening when I am back home
  • I am very sorry for causing this inconveniences
  • I do want to make clear that I was not dishonest or sneaky. Perhaps I was stupid and clumsy, but my intentions were always transparent
  • I hope this incident does not tarnish a wonderful week end

I understand why this is an important issue.

However, your blog is very interesting for me; someone who has never attended the annual event. I learned a lot. Thanks for taking the time and effort man. If I ever attend, I would spenf most of the time connecting on-line names with the people there.

I think the smartest move would be to remove all the pictures. I understand your intention and that it did not go well in execution.

Having attended this event for some five or six years, I had been informed when I came that pictures were forbidden. Maybe it would be a good idea to remind previous attendees and inform new ones that this the preferred policy for all to follow. My impression came from previous attendees who assured me this was the policy.

As a new face of 2018, though a previous patron of this party, I was distressed to hear I was background fodder for the beautiful physiques of two of our more prominent escorts. I was glad to hear the photos were taken down as I avoid photos and videos as best I can. I also avoid looking in mirrors and have not intentionally looked in a mirror for years unless it was to inspect for some type of skin issue. My fragile ego would not survive people looking at those photos and saying: "Look at that ass, can you believe it? On the other hand, that escort's butt looks great. I'll print it and you get the scissors".

Next year Latbear in DC and PS,

Go go edit the photos and blur the faces.

Even guys I understood had given their consent have asked me privately to remove their pictures. Rather than contacting individually each model for a double check, I just took all the pictures down, I will be more careful next time.

Besides, a radical move like taking down all the pics is the best I can do to show my intentions were noble.

Thank you for the suggestion, Guy!

I saw the pictures before they came down. I can honestly say I paid no attention to anyone in the background and didn't for a moment speculate which of the posters here could been in the photo.

I feel latbear4blk has acted honorably. It seems like it was just a misunderstanding and he has apologized and removed the photo's that some objected to.

It was an honest misunderstanding. When he asked to take my photo, @latbear4blk did indeed mention that it was for his blog. At the time I did not think much of it, or think it through. When I saw the blog post with my photo I had second thoughts, and my request to have it removed was honored. I agree it should not tarnish a wonderful weekend... or my fondness for @latbear4blk for that matter!
