I've gone in a few times and hung out, leaning against the wall waiting, and only once have I found anyone in there.

Here is an idea, maybe if once a week (or more frequently) an escort was to host an hour or two in the chat room to answer questions, flirt, tell raunchy tales, or just stand and look pretty.

maybe I'm just not savvy enough with pc's yet, but Id love to go in the chat room. I go there but it's all blank and I can't make anything happen. Very nice of you, Matt - and Quinte - for volunteering. I think scheduled chats are the way to go. Most sites that have a chat function as one of their features end up having at least one time per week set up as a regular chat time, so people will know when to find others. I, too, have gone in there once in a while to find myself the sole occupant. Chatting with oneself isn't even as satisfying as masturbation. :-)

I had a lot of trouble figuring out the chat room myself. So let's not just ignore the fellow's fears. When you get to the chat sign up page, there is a blank at the bottom for your name. There's also a blank for your bio or whatever. I don't know how to use that part yet. Then you click on something and you're in.

Once I was finally in with two people talking about something one of them said hi to me and I became completely flustered, could't figure out how to say anything back and fled. I later went in when noone else was there and talked to myself so it wouldn't happen again. It turns out that you just start typing. What you are putting in will appear in a little window at the bottom of the new page. When you are through typing in what you're trying to say, just hit the enter button on your keyboard (where the return button would be on a typewriter) and the sentence will be transferred to the common page.

My next fear is that trying to be terse, not my normal wordy self, I will really look dumb. But then I usually just stand around and listen to everyone else most of the time at a cocktail party anyway. (Well, actually, I'm a bit better than that lately, but...)

I really don't think that we should burden Hooboy with assigning the schedule for the chat room star. Can you imagine the uproar if he showed the slightest inclination towards a normal human preference for certain people or certain types?? "Twinks! Aaron!" Oy! I can just hear it now. So, please, either on this link or on a new one or ones, would interested escorts just start announcing themselves when we can go and chat them up. It won't matter if there's more than one at a time, though more than three would really be confusing. And it won't matter if we miss one of their announced times. I'm sure that my brothers won't stand upon ceremony and wait until everyone with a review has had a chance. That is, if this is either fun or profitable.

This is just beta, Okay? It's for us to figure out how to make it work for us. If this software is good, I'll buy it and we'll have our own area. But it may be fun to be able to interact with the cam guys, too.

I've done some tests with some folks using the Volcano software - it's real easy and you can go into private chats. You can also maintain chats with the cam guys at the same time, which might be an advantage.

 

Remember, I'm not getting any remuneration if you sign up for the cam stuff, but they're being very nice by hosting me at no cost. But if you think you're helping me out by buying their service, you aren't, not that I expect that to be an important issue for you.

Well I'm glad that some of you think it's a good idea, I'm available for chat on the 29th at 8pm pacific,(I think that's midnight eastern, I'm not sure) Sorry if this is too late for most, but I'm out of town for the next several days, and that's my first available time.
