Reaching out here...

This is Tyger,

Some of you may know me and some of you may not~

By posting this, I mean to offend no one nor make anyone uncomfortable...

I'm reaching out for both a personal family siuation as well as a community effort concern~

Tough year on my family: my sister died July 4th and my brother died recently Jan 24th~

Both suffered life long psychological, Anxiety/depression, autism spectrum concerns and physical health issues associated with all of that~

My brother more profoundly so~

It incompacitated him in many ways others don't even think about during our day to day affaires~

Most of his adult life, he was unable be in public, leave the house or even his bedroom~

His circumstances left him in poverty~

Yet he was a loving, wise, compassionate man and father of three children~

I created a gofundme campaign for my brother's funeral expenses but, also added a community contribution toward The Anxiety and Depression Association of America and Autismspeaks.org.

The campaign asks for $2,500 towards funeral expenses and administrative fees in association with my brother's passing.

Anything above the goal will be donated, in equal parts, to The Anxiety and Depression Association of America, ( https://adaa.org/ ), and Autismspeaks.org

After my brother's funeral is over, I will continue to campaign for the two other causes in the hopes

of providing better care, understanding and life productivity for those struggling with anxiety/depression disorders and Autism, Aspergers and related spectrum conditions, including family member support~

I didn't know if it would be an appropriate thing for me to post as a link here on Daddys Reviews but, decided to do so and hope you will consider my campaign~

I will respectfully remove the thread if anyone finds offense or finds it an inappropriate endeavor for the forum~

Dear Tyger So sorry for you loss - I feel your pain and that horrible sense of loss and helplessness

 

- I lost a dearly loved fwb of many years around xmas - With as many people as loved him he could not love himself and drove into a bridge embankment at full speed after having covered himself with transdermal opiod patches so that pumping his stomach would have no effect . . .

So awful and sad to hear of these tragedies for both of you. I hope you can somehow find peace. I, too had a very dear best friend who would not let on to anyone how desperate he must have been feeling to ultimately buy a rifle to do the deed. I would have done anything to help him had I known but he wouldn't open up to anyone until the time came for him to pull the trigger. Let's only hope that we should never feel that kind of pain.
