I know about "The Spa" for masseur messages but not wanting to compromise anyone's license, I thought to post these questions here for guys who've actually hired masseurs off rentmen, massagem4m or similar sites.

What happens during a massage?

Is it massage followed by JO?

Is it massage followed by full-on sex?

How is booking with a masseur different than booking with an escort?

What happens during a massage? The session usually starts with a massage. Can be a light rub down or a more intensive massage, depending on the skills of the masseur. Also a good time to get to know the masseur a little if it is the first time. The session usually starts with you on your stomach and the masseur working on the back of the body, neck to feet. Then later, you will be asked to turn around and then the masseur will work on the front.

Is the massage followed by JO? It depends on the type of massage. If you ask for an erotic massage, in my view I expect to be happy in the end, so at least a release by hand. I would also expect that mutual touching would be okay. Sometimes there can be more, but really, if I want more, I hire an escort and not a masseur. Sensual massage can mean anything, so this is a case where you may want to specify your expectations (mutual touch, happy ending etc). Therapeutic massage I don't expect anything more than a massage (and a good one at that) from a licensed masseur.

Is it massage followed by full-on sex? In my experience, no. I am sure that it happens from time to time, but has never happened to me (perhaps I am doing it wrong!) and it is not my expectation.

How is booking with a masseur different than booking with an escort? When you hire as a masseur, you should expect less than you would from a full service escort. As an example, when I arrange time with an escort, I usually specify my preferences (top, kissing etc). With a masseur I do not - don't expect it to go that far.

Helpful?

Like the escort experience: communication is key. I save the sensuous stuff for escorts. When I hire a masseur I specify that I want a legit massage and that a “happy ending” would not be refused but was not required. I also specify that I would like both of us to be naked and that I want to be able to touch him in a non/sexual way for the exchange of energy.

Now I also warn that if they station their cock near my mouth for an extended period of time I would consider it an invitation to taste it. A few do and I do but it’s always very briefly.

I also request classical music played very softly and as little conversation as possible. Massage for me is the closest I get to being in a meditative state.

Again, communication is key.

Thank you all for your responses -- very helpful.

One question. If I wanted a therapeutic massage, why would I hire a masseur from those pages? Why not just get a therapeutic massage at a local spa or massage therapist, which I gather would be cheaper?

Even if it’s just strictly theraputic, I usually think you know what you’re getting in advance. Probably will be a little more sensual if no obvious extra touching or anything is involved. Plus you know you’re going to get a massage where you know a hot guy will be massaging you. It’s been a little uncomfortable at times at a spa where I don’t really want the random masseur to have his hands on me, but I just go along with it. Although I’ve found some awesome guys at spas or even Massage envy who I love getting massages from.

Nothing better than choosing a masseur from a list of hot men on a website, read reviews (I know, some could be fake..), contact him with yr requests, arranging an appointment, being 90% of the time happy with the resemblance to his pics when he opens the door, getting undressed, laying face down on the table, hearing him taking his (usually) shorts off and begin to feel his hands on yr neck, back, glutes, legs....

The massage per se can be almost non existent, a bit light and amateurish, good and just a few times amazing.

The level of what happens in the sensual/erotic department depends on the masseur and of course also on the level of chemistry.

I have had a few masseurs who mechanically masturbate you with the same excitement of opening a can of tuna, others (mostly) who get hard, like what they see and allow touching, others that are very happy with mutual oral or just inviting you to open yr mouth, and a few (not many, I don't want to brag too much!) who ended on top and inside of you kissing passionately and creating a mutual explosion of senses and more...

Thanks guys this info has been very helpful for a newbie like me who is just venturing out to try his first (hopefully) sensual massage. Gives info that have been wondering about and suggests that you be fairly clear on what your are hoping for rather than just guessing.. Looking forward to first experience in Vegas and the reviews have been really helpful.

From another perspective...

If you are asking for a therapeutic massage, you want to feel comfortable with the services you are receiving. If you go to the local spa, you don't always know if you'll get a male or female available. You know, when you hire the therapist directly.

Also, you don't know if they are comfortable with your cock and balls or afraid that you'll file an inappropriate sexual conduct complaint. They may spend a great deal of effort to make sure your privates are covered. That draping, while quite efficient, can take 5-10% of time you'd prefer they were working on the massage.

Since you are probably not concerned about modesty, and may not be opposed to having them handle your cock, using "those sites" (as you call it), allow both you and them to focus on the massage. If someone is advertising, then you can feel comfortable the focus is not on your modesty.
