I’ve received a huge inflation in fake/flake clients. The latest thing, aside from all these fake people trying to send you checks in the mail (scams)— for me has been vulgar texts, phone calls and emails. I don’t mind a dirty text about dom/sub or water sports or even fisting etc, —I can chit chat about that casuall with no hang ups. However my line in the sand is phone sex, sexting, email sex and very vivid and imagined scenes being set. I’ve had ALOT of requests for people, for the sake of your day and stomach let’s just refer to what they’re asking for as SCAT. Now in my whole lot of years of massaging and escorting, 10/10 times when someone mentioned they want scat or want to eat scat— etc. They never show up; so in turn when someone is requesting said things and getting in over their heads making me feel like they’re a flake— I hit them when my PayPal link and ask for a non-refundable $100 to cover our chats. I often get called a flake or “red flagged” when I do this, then suddenly they go from vivid emails about gross fantasies they never want to come true to bashing me and that I’m gonna scam them.

I guess, I don’t know if I’m venting or asking y’all if you’ve ever had a similar experience and if indeed that’s a real thing/fetish and if these said clients you’ve spoken with have ever actually showed up.

Thoughts? Ideas? Opinions?

Perhaps this will yield a higher response rate in the Ask An Escort forum.

Unrelated to rentguys entirely.... fakes, scams, and what seems like just plain "too much time on their hands coupled with disregard for others' time" seems to be increasing. I say that based upon my personal experiences with online selling, employment recruiting, and some internet-dependent volunteer work.

As a client, I love texting the hot guys I hire. It's always a bit of a thrill to exchange non-session talk. In the vast majority of cases (for me) these are started by the escort. These don't get into sexting or anything, but it is great for me to be chatting with a really hot guy, even over electronic media. It's similar to when I get private time with a dancer - I'm getting the attention of a really hot man.

As part of the business, an escort needs to respond to some graphic messages (@Brian Kevin I know I'm not telling you anything you don't already know - I'm just covering the basics). Properly, these are part of being sure the match will work. If I want to cover you in chocolate and lick it off, I need to be sure you're OK with that.

Knowing that, there are guys who dangle out the possibility of a session just so they can get to dirty talk someone, and even better it's someone hot. You're doing this to get business. They are doing it to get their rocks off since they either can't afford a session like they are describing (I would think that some of this would command a premium), or are in the wrong place for the guy they want, or it's something they would just never actually _do_. I admit to having a few fantasies that I wouldn't actually want to do: I fantasize about them a bit, but as they are impersonal, and I really like the connection I can get with an escort, I don't want to mess that connection up. And if I've seen and like the guy, I don't want to get impersonal.

I feel for the escorts who get messages that never go anywhere. But in reality it's like shopping. We can look at the pictures, but messaging the escort is like trying on clothes - seeing if they fit. Even if they don't it's something the shop has to allow.

Scat is a fetish I have zero interest in personally. I would suspect that a number of the people who contact you about it are fantasizing about it, but when the time comes to actually do it, they get a lot of doubt in their mind, and that pushes the over the edge of not going through with it.

I'm sure you have had a lot of first-timers who chickened out at the last minute. For whatever reason, when the time came, it was too much for them. They had never been with a man, or never done it deliberately (i.e. just drunk stuff) or whatever. Unfortunately, it's part of doing business. Edge stuff is even more so, even if it's with a client who has done stuff before.

For a much milder example, I'll use me. I contacted my regular before an overnight and told him I wanted to do the whipped-cream thing. You know, putting it on his dick and balls and lapping it up. He agreed, after all that request isn't so off the wall as to cause pause. When we were in bed that night and I got the whipped cream out he mentioned that of all the people who had asked to do it, I was the first to actually go through with it. I thought it was odd, since I didn't make the request until I was sure I wanted to try it. If a request as simple as that gets people to back-out, I can only image how often harder requests get backed out from. Incidentally, where it was OK, I didn't find it mind-blowing. It seems to be one of those things more suited for porn than real life.

There is another thread somewhere about escorts offering non-sexual cuddling time. Since (again, I'm not an escort, never will be [i'd starve to death], this is completely a client opinion) sexy/fetish messages could be a service you offer, you might want to find and publish a rate plan. "I'll spend an hour total messaging you on any sexy subject for $XX. So I agree completely with your effort to get something out of these people. But I think publishing it _might_ reduce the scammer allegations. And provide you with what I think of as fairly easy money.

@Brian Kevin I know you are a reputable escort, and the scamming allegations are just people being upset they are not getting anything for free. They are the scammers. An escort's time is valuable. I try to take up as little of my escorts time planning sessions as I can. I want to get the details set, and a few confirmations, and I'm good.

As for how real it is. I think it is real. I think there are people out there who are into it. I don't think there are a lot of them to be honest. I don't get into it, so I don't know for sure, but it has always struck me as something that appears more in written porn than anything else. There are some videos, but like a lot of the more edge fetishes, not a lot. The fact there is not a lot of video reads to me that there isn't really a market for it ( I don't think there is a lot on pornhub or the like - and not because of the content, because of the market). Since it's so edge, it's much harder to find a partner to engage in it than even just man-on-man sex. An escort, any escort, is more likely to be open to it than any regular gay man. (That's a statement about percentages, not desire. A number of escorts I know will do something they have no interest in as part of the session because it's their business. And my general experience is their willingness is wider than most guys you would pick up in an average gay bar).

Vent away, man. I'd rather forum-reply to a hot guy like you than a lot of things. It means I'm chatting with a hot guy for free :)

I don't think it's an extremely exotic thing within a subset of the community. Within the fetish community, I would guess people into scat would be a small minority, but even people who weren't into it wouldn't be shocked by it.
