Today’s Buenos Aires review highlights an escort that seems to have failed to provide the service expected by the client on multiple account (at a very expensive price for BA if you ask me).

The part that makes me mad is another instance of “we didn’t have any condoms” comment.

I have seen comments on this forum a couple of times before, this is the first time I notice it in a review though.

Ok, first, this escort doesn’t even know what the job entails if he doesn’t have condoms when meeting a client, the bad review is well deserved. Think about it, it wasn’t “Ooops, I forgot to pack them when I left for your hotel” it was literally “I am an escort, but there are no condoms in my own apartment”!

Second, the client didn’t have any condoms either. I am sorry, but a good client who goes to an escort’s place doesn’t forget to bring the cash, doesn’t forget to wear some trousers, and just in case, doesn’t forget to bring condoms!

You should know that some escorts are as bad as this gentleman Mark Fitt, and so, as a client, do not make your experience even worse by not having condom and lube with you. You know that you are about to have sex, for Sean Cody’s sake, bring some condoms!

Ok, rant over, the bad review is deserved, but I am failing to be sympathetic to the client, sorry.

I have never brought either condoms or lube to a meeting with an escort (I do when I meet my SA friends, however, because they don’t advertise as “professionals”).

I consider them to be tools of the trade and, similarly, I do not bring a toothbrush to a dentist office visit.

On two occasions the guys I met was unprepared. I asked the first to run to a drug store before we started our time together. The second had Uber’ed and unable to. I suspect that we were both disappointed in the final outcome of that meeting.

I believe that part of being a professional in any field is showing up on time, prepared and ready to do your job. I show up clean, with a positive attitude and holding cash.

I hate to sound like a hardass or non-pragmatic but everyone draws the line somewhere. I also think that showing up sober counts.

The true pro’s I’ve met are always prepared.

Totally agree, they are, but if you are “taking the plunge” with an unknown entity (which some of us do) why risk making the encounter with a non-prepared escort even worse?

It isn’t as if condoms cost much. Most likely you will keep them anyway, coz you’ll use his.

Don’t disagree. The SA guys are “unknown entities”... a complete wildcard. I think I could show up with a live chicken and wearing a Batman costume and still be surprised. But if someone expects to make a living doing something.....

I agree. I had an experience with one of my favorites where his lube emptied into his satchel and another where an excellent escort did forget. I was prepared and didn’t have to sit around horny as hell while a shopping trip was accomplished. They were great nights and it didn’t occur to me to think that their reputations were somehow lessened.

If you are in a hotel many front desks have courtesy kits for people who forget the basics.

I knew they had toothbrushes, but condoms?

I am not sure I’d ask though. Maybe in a large hotel, where the front desk rotates quite a lot, but in a boutique hotel where the same guy will do your bill the next morning?

Also are they actually called courtesy kit and they will understand what you need if you call it a courtesy kit, or do you need to say “you wouldn’t have some condoms by any chance?” right in front of the other clients who are doing their check in?

Yes. I recently had a session with a gentleman who asked me to pick up lube on the way: he was travelling and I doubt he had a car and would have had to find a place to get some in an unfamiliar city. He mentioned it was an oversight on his part, so no problem.

I had previously had a gentleman ask me to bring condoms: again another traveler without an easy way to get to someplace to pick them up. He also mentioned it as an oversight.

In both cases it was a simple mistake that the escort moved to rectify before the session started. That both happened to me within 6 months is just "luck" on my part. But I do expect an escort to be prepared, and PrEP or not, I want him to use condoms on me, and his other clients.

Considering some of the questions people ask front desk clerks I would not be embarrassed. Better to be a little embarrassed then not be happy in bed.

Oh, yeah, I meant that I would either be prepared or run to the store instead, but if it is not an option because everything is closed, I too would ask rather than not have sex.

A W hotel I've stayed at had an "intimacy kit", similar to a sewing kit. Had 2 condoms, and a little foil packet of lube.

As far as not having condoms, I once met a guy for the 2nd time, but it was an out call to my hotel. It was very early in my hiring experience. I asked if it was too late to ask if he was able to bottom. He said he didn't bring lube. It wasn't until a long time later that I thought, why didn't he ask me if I had any lube. Lesson learned.

Last month I had a fairly nice play session with an escort in Los Angeles whom I'd really yearned to receive while lying on the "bottom bunk." He, likewise, was eager to serve as a "super top," but when the time became supreme for me to get fucked-- I asked for condoms. He had none but stated that he'd obtain them from a drugstore. I declined, for it would have adversely affected our time together.

From his physical movements and actions after I told him that I "don't do raw," I managed to keep him from " entering and reaching my special spot."

In spite of our not having anal intercourse, I had a good time ...slightly AND let him know that I hope we'd see each other AGAIN while I visited the "City of Angels" in the future. He seemed amiable to that AND stated that he definitely would provide condoms!

I bring anything I might want on hand. Eliminates worry and excuses, you know!

I heard about that turkey fryer. What I want to know is how you didn't blow a circuit.
