For some reason yesterday, Google search stopped allowing me to image search porn images from the gallery. Previously I could see several pages of where the image could be found, now I only get generic image results. In researching, apparently Google several years ago installed "safe search" which prevents pornographic images from showing, but for me the problem only started yesterday. I went into my "elements" and supposedly turned it off but still get the same results. I've cleared my cache and cookies, and blocked all add on, but nothing..

Is there a way around this? And is this something the Geek Squad would handle.

I'm on pc with Windows 10 and using Firefox...Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have the same issue, but it only happens "sometimes", less often than not.

Internet inquires turned up information on how Google chooses to turn on and off "safe search," a system designed to not allow porn images to be shown with those who don't want it when they are doing generic Internet searchs, like school teachers, students, evangelicals and children. This change took place several years ago, and apparently "safe search," even though users have it turned off, will randomly turn itself on, which is most likely what happened to me, and Google prevents users from disabling it again. The easiest recommended solution was to use 'Bing' to search instead. Apparently the good folks over at Bing, enjoy a little porn every now and again. It isn't as easy as Google Image search, but it gets the job done, so I am a little relieved today.

on a PC... not a tablet.... I open the source code. search for "jpg"

if there are multiple pictures, they're generally all listed, in a paragraph like gathering, one per line. May be clickable... or copy-paste into another browser window.

To search, I copy-paste into google image search url field, or tineye url field.

Just tried this...worked beautifully, thanks!
