One thing to note is that giving a tip means to the recipient that the service was good to above average to extraordinary. Tipping him after the session says you were satisfied. This is especially true if you pay the person who makes the money from the service.

 

Take the "Hair Salon" example. If you see the owner of a hair salon, you are not expected to tip since he or she sets the prices, generally gets a cut of all the work there. Someone who has to pay to work there (like non-owner hairdressers).

 

There are some other points here: tips are generally considered part of the expected income for waiters/waitresses (so much in fact that at least at one point, the IRS expected them to receive a percentage over their wages in tips). Escorts set their own price, so a tip signals good service.
