missed it in the theater but just watched the dvd....as always Brad Pitt looks fine, and still...what a beautiful behind he has :9

 

and I would love to know more about the hottie who played his cousin Patroclus, Garrett Hedlund I believe is his name...WOOF!

I know I'm going to be in the minority on this one:

 

I thought this movie was a cop-out as far as giving us a real look at BP's butt. I mean, seriously, 3 side views? Not even a full dorsal? When that PRIMO opportunity came up and he was sliding out of his gear and splashing water on himself and he turns away from the camera to lean over the water dish and reaches back and pulls off his skirt-thingy and.... the camera moves away from it. ***Groan***

 

I fast-forwarded my way through probably 200 minutes of swords-and-sandal silliness for not very much, IMHO. Oh, well, I was on vacation at the time, so no real loss, I guess.

 

We need somebody with BP's butt-excellence and Malcolm MacDowell's penchant for on-screen nudity to give a QUALITY show. (Hmm. Actually, I think that describes Ewan McGregor....)

TROY? What a silly excuse for a movie. I couldn't believe how awful it was and I was embarrassed for Mr. Pitt. Not only did he bare much of his private self for a worthless cause, he worked very hard on a role that offered little redemption. I hope his salary made up for his career-stained association with this turkey.

 

As for Mr. Pitt and Mr. Bloom being sexy icons, neither will replace Viagra in my life. I certainly see their "on-screen" appeal and I understand their strong fan base but both are a little too "light" for my tastes, and I'm not talkin' skin color.

 

Brad smokes and looks like he's had one-too-many face peels and Orlando has no lips. What can I say, I like my men to look like men (with meat on the mouth).

 

If I wanted short, pretty and gritty, I'd probably enjoy telling Colin Farrell to spread-'em and bend-over. But he smokes, too.

 

From my experience being face-to-face with pretty boys who smoke, the smell of wet ashtray and sewer gas is a sure-fire way to make someone uglier than original sin.

 

ps Thanks for posting the pictures, though! It's always fun to view eye-candy.

 

pps Am I the only MC member who owns the Playgirl copy that features Brad naked?

I had a copy of it in my hands as I went through a donation box at a thrift store where I volunteered. Rather than buy it I pointed it out to the owner and he consulted a friend who said it was worth about $5. I wonder what it is worth now.

 

It's all too bad about BP's butt, in my opinion, since it's probably just not being put to its highest use.
