I'm very surprised to read HooBoys message this morning(10th) and learn that the donations to date have come nowhere near clearing off his $4000 debt to Verio. How many people use this site regularly, either as entertainment (me) or a resource for...companionship? A whole freaking lot,that's who. Hey, fellows, let's get off our collective asses and get this debt off our heroes back! I think it probably just about kills HooBoy to have to bring this up, so let's erase it so it never has to be mentioned again. I can tell from reading stuff on here that a lot of you are in far higher income brackets than me, but G.D. it, I was happy to make my donation for a web site that allows me the

vicarious kick this one does. It doesn't take a whole lot of $$$ individually, just collectively.

Lucky I believe you are correct based on memory. But prior to his use of a hosting company the site was actually a sub domain of a free hosting service. I am certain deej will remember those days.

 

Anyway, HB was a visionary he alone created the concept from my understanding based on several people who considered themselves good friends of his.

TotallyOZ has also given us an alternative, or a complementary, vessel in which to do the same thing.
