Well, I wouldn't say that, as I think RuPaul, at least imo, and I've seen 100's of drag queens in performance, is the absolutely finest looking drag, that I've ever seen. As far as this doll, imo, the body is right, but the skin tone and hair are somewhat off for RuPaul.

 

This doll looks more like Diana Ross to me. Could it be that this image was taken from that video "Night of a Thousand Dianas"? If so, then I'd buy into it being RuPaul. Which is a shame, considering that RuPaul has his own voice and look, and that video was below his considerable talents, as he was just "another" Diana, although, the one who stood out in the crowd.

 

Whatever, it is still a beautiful doll, worthy of any celebrity doll collection! :-)

Are you referring to Diana's "I Will Survive" video? No, RuPaul was blonde in that one. This doll is based on his/her recent album cover:

Yeah, "I Will Survive" was the song in the video, but I think the name of the video was "Night of a Thousand Dianas", which was not the same as the video of Diana singing that song. Anyway, the doll does look like the album cover that you posted, so I guess you're right on the facts.
