OK, about 6 month ago I subscribed to HERE TV , the gay channel out of Canada. The programming has been hit and miss, but last night I watched the premiere of a totally hot (OK and Sleazy) TV series called Dante's Cove. Think Tales of The City meets Dark Shadows. The men are all hot and tons of naked bodies. The lesbian women all get it on as well. Last nights episode opened in the past (1800's?) with the master of the house sending his fiancee home so he could let his valet fu-k him. Of course the fiancee comes back to get her <ahem> gloves and see the two men going at it. Now the valet had a huge tool and when the fiancee (who happens to be some kind of witch) gives him the evil red eye (no not that one) he falls to the floor naked and starts flopping around (along with his huge tool flopping as well). Well, it got this man running a flopping type sweat also.

Would love to hear anyone else's opinion

Oh, I should say that while productions values seem to be good, the acting leaves something to be desired. Who cares tho, when the whole idea is to watch hot people get it on?}(

Some friends and I just watched the first DVD (apparently Season 1, part 1) of Dante's Cove.

Yeppers ... lots of HOT men. Definately a gay soap opera / Sex in the City / Dark Shadows / gay porn hybrid.

In addition to the story and hot eye candy, part of the fun is in experiencing what has to be the absolute worse acting ever. The local high school does a better job.

Dante's Cove is on DVD and available from Netflix. It really is horrible--the acting is laughable. The skin is more limited than one would like. On the whole, it makes Queer As Folk seem like Shakespeare (even the dreadful stuff they did after they ran out of British material).
