The cadaver found along Pump Road, near Short Pump Va., on September 12, 2005 has been cremated after no relatives or friends came forward to claim the body.

The body was found, after lying along side the road for several days, by a local resident. The body, which could not be identified at the time, was found lying next to a large trash bag filled with aluminum cans and the carcass of a three-legged dog.

The body has since been identified as Cletus Bob Hawkins known to the residents of Short Pump as “Buzzard”. Hawkins, a known criminal, was indigent at the time of his death.

Hawkins, who only had an eighth grade education, had a long history of arrest including, petty theft, public intoxication, numerous drunk driving offenses, drunk and disorderly conduct, indecent exposure, sexual assault of an animal, and lewd acts.

After searching Hawkins trailer, the police recovered several disk of photos of men engaged in sexual acts with animals and each other as well as several other sexual perverse items.

Hawkins ashes were spread over the local landfill were local residents said he spent most of his days looking for aluminum cans and other items he could sell. His one, and only possession, his computer, was confiscated and destroyed by local authorities.
