This may be off of the subject, but if anyone doesn't know the story from which I suppose Blondel gets his name, it is fascinating history. When Richared the Lionheart was at the crusades, he and one of his men, Blondel, wrote a song together. Later Richard was captured and negotiations for his realease were made most difficult because noone would admit who had him. Blondel, for love of Richard, went outside all of the prisons one by one and sang the first half of the song. Finally, he heard Richard, the only one who would know the rest of the song, singing it to him. He had found his man!
