2) Who from your class would you have taken to prom if you'd had the chance?

 

My answers:

1 - I think was the small, quiet, brainy type (who probably should have had a shorter haircut) although I can't say what others thought of me. I was in band (3rd trumpet) and in honor society (but I never went to any of their events). I listened to LP's a lot (remember LP's?), watched a lot of TV (it was the era of the best sitcoms ever) and rode my bicycle a lot, too. I kinda wished I could have been The Bionic Woman or Wonder Woman.

 

(I would love to hear some escorts eval's of who they were back in high school.)

 

2 - Although I might have asked Jim Jeeter (tall, brunette football player with dreamy brown eyes), I would have had to claw my way past his girlfriend (who he later married and had 3 kids with, even though there was that ONE time he gave me a look I won't soon forget) and a whole schoolyard of other girls...

I would have TOTALLY gone for one of his friends Rich Nichols, who was more my height, brunette with dreamy BLUE eyes and an excellent soccer-playing butt. :P

Hmmm... my high school profile rather matches Duckie's, except that I was not in band. I do regret never having learned to play an instrument, but I had my heart set on bagpipes, and our loacal instrument rental emporium just didn't have any.

Oddly, I remember very little about high school... or, i guess I should say that I simply do not reminisce about that time. I remember the music... Aerosmith, The Cars, VanHalen, Pink Floyd (that's what the others listened to... i mainly listened to Bach until I discovered Patti Smith.)

There was a guy named Monte for whom I had a bad case of puppy love. Broad shoulders, (remember blue & gold rugby shirts?)great ass (remember Brittania bell bottoms?) Gorgeous black hair (remember Patrick Duffy in Man from Atlantis?). And, he was a bad, bad boy. I, however was a very good, invisible boy. I'm sure Monte never was even aware of me.

1) Who were you in high school? Up till my senior year I was pretty quiet and kept to myself. My senior year I blew the closet doors off and an atom bomb force and ruffeled a lot of feathers. Esp those that were cheerleaders and jocks. I went to a mostly white (BLAH!!) middle class, wealthy (more BLAH!!!!) school. I didn't fit in with the cheerleaders since my legs and ass looked way better then there and didn't fit in with the jocks since I refused to play sports. I was and am still probably the only person in my hs that passed p.e. by getting a note saying that I went dancing on Wed. and Sat. nights...LOL.

 

2) Who from your class would you have taken to prom if you'd had the chance? I would have taken Josh this super cool soccer jock and the only jock that was nice to me to the prom. I ran into him a few years ago at a music/cultural festival here in Seattle and he still looked the same and my heart went pidder patter for the lad. I swear soccer players have the best asses and legs then any sports player I have seen. If only I could be a pair of his socks or jockstrap for a day :9

1) I was the extremely shy, quiet, scholarly type, super-skinny and unathletic. I'm always surprised to discover at high school reunions that my classmates remember me as witty and entertaining.

 

2) I always had the hots for two classmates: one was a powerfully muscular, handsome blond Polak named Lenny, who used to show me nude pictures of his girlfriend; he committed suicide in his early 20s. The other was a jock named Joe, who had such a sensuous face and body, and soft dark brown body hair. 1) Who were you in high school?

 

This is going to be a shock: I was the smartass honor student who always made people laugh. Oh, and I was really skinny but I always had the biggest hair. I never knew this but I found out at my 10-year reunion that a lot of the girls had had crushes on me and thought I was cute and their mothers had wanted them to date me. I was like, "Um, I came out in senior year....didn't you notice?"

I was just starting to date Derek so I would have taken him, but I was so not into spending an evening with all those straight kids (gee, I've really changed a lot over the years). :7

hmmmm...thats a hard one...I went to an all boy's Catholic school and I guess I was seen as funny, but kind of weird funny...by my sophmore year, I was drinking and smoking so I knew the cool group but wasnt really a part of them...I was kind of a floater...I was also very straight and always had a girlfriend...average student

 

2) Who from your class would you have taken to prom if you'd had the chance?

 

Shit, I would not have had the balls to ask a guy and I had fun with my friends even though my girlfriend broke up with me about a week before the prom...we still went together and she was a bitch, but I was so drunk I didnt care...had a great after party in NYC and then on to Jones Beach...aahhhh...memories
