You've gotta love Jack Webb.

 

I've been listening to old radio shows on an internet radio station and on Monday nights they have "Private Eyes." The show PAT NOVAK, PRIVATE EYE (starring Jack Webb) last night had him saying goofy, hard-boiled things like "I made about as much headway as a hummingbird in a wind-tunnel" and "he was about as subtle as runaway freight train". Right after that was DRAGNET, more Jack Webb and tough-guy talk taking place in LA locations.
