Hey guys in LA! Any reports about what the Silent Movie Theater is like now? When I lived there last it was still closed after Mr. Lawrence, the owner, had been killed.

Whenever I listen to my online radio stations that include music from the 1920's, I always remember how nice it was to sit in the auditorium as they played vintage music over the sound system, nice bouncy tunes from that era. Then, when then the organist would strike up "Pomp and Circumstance," Mr. Lawrence would come to the front and tell about the program for the night. He would do so again after the cartoon and short features, giving trivia about the feature that would follow. I even got to see Charles "Buddy" Rogers there in person at a benefit (he was known as "America's Boyfriend" and in the 20's he was quite the cutey...)
