This is my first visit to Palm Springs. I'm looking for a really nice relaxing resort. I've narrowed it down to either Inndulge or the Hacienda. Both have gotten really great reviews ... I just can't decide. I need help.

Have you checked [a href=http://babydb.male4malescorts.com/m4mdc/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=4&topic_id=83485&mesg_id=83485&listing_type=search

]this[/a] thread ?

If you're looking for relaxation I'd suggest [a href=http://www.thehacienda.com/]The Hacienda[/a], for action try [a href=http://www.pridenation.com/inndulge/]Inndulge[/a].

Steven,

Guys don`t giggle however they may chuckle.

I haven`t been there either but for some strange reason think I might know that same person also.

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking I'll probably stay at Hacienda...it sounds very nice. What's the crowd like there? Not that it's really that important but it does sound like the sexual temperature is pretty cold there.

OKEY DOKEY

The Hacienda and InnDulge both have the same crowd, age wise and lookswise. If you are going in the next two months, be prepared for a limited crowd during the week and a low key crowd during the weekend.

The only real difference between both places is that InnDulge has allowed adult film companies to film there repeatedly, has a more sexual environment and allows more physical activity in public area.

Amenities wise, both are nice. However, for a truly nice experience at the same price, I would stay at Las Palmas and, as was suggested, get day passes to other resorts. I would avoid CCBC as well as Camp Palm Springs unless you want a bathhouse environment.

Check out http://www.psbottomline.com for information on upcoming events.

Enjoy!

RE: OKEY DOKEY

Thanks again for the suggestions. Does anyone know which of the Palm Springs resorts offer day passes and what can I expect?

Day Passes

Not all of them offer day passes. There is an extensive list of gay resorts, which is not 100 percent up to date, at this web site:

http://www.palmspringsgay.com/

Not every place allows day use. The only real reasons to get a day use pass are as follows: no one is at the resort you end up at; you want to get laid (in which case, you only need bother with a day pass at CCBC or Camp Palm Springs), or your resort is not clothing optional and that is what you seek.

Only a few of the resorts are not clothing optional. The only one of note is The Villas in Catherdral City (not to be confused with the Warm Sands property, which I strongly urge anyone to avoid. The Villas is a nice property with a full service restaurant but I would not stay there for your first trip to the desert, although I do suggest a drive there for a nice, pool side meal, especially if you are traveling or meeting others.

Now, again back to CCBC or Camp Palm Springs: unless you want a bathhouse environment, with frankly a lot of drug use and unsafe sex, I would avoid both of these places. I have only ever been to CCBC once, with a group of adult film actors and behind the scenes adult film production people, in relation to an event. I stuck with the crowd of people I came with. I have never been to Camp Palm Springs. As with any public establishment where sex is readily available (i.e., guys in slings and openly naked and inviting physical activity), it is certainly possible to have a safe and sane experience, but for your first trip to the desert, again I would not bother.

If you really want to check out some other resorts, look at the ones that appeal to you on line, call them and tell them you would like to check out some of the rooms and the facilities. If the place appeals to you, you can always inquire about a day use pass. This is exactly how I discovered many of the other properties I have never stayed in, in addition to visiting them to see clients and, of course, repeated trips to the desert.

I would also definitely check out the Bottom Line web site for a current list of properties, although call in advance to confirm rates and look for summer specials.

Good luck.

RE: Day Passes

>The Villas is a nice property with a full service restaurant

Did they finally get the restaurant back open?

When I was down there a couple of months ago it had been completely gutted for remodeling. They'd planned to have it open by then but the heavy rain this winter delayed construction.

When I saw it, it was only roughly framed in.

The problem with making something foolproof is the universe keeps making better fools.

To be honest, I have not eaten there since the first remodeling was done by the new owners, last December. I know they already hired the new chef but you are correct, the "grand re-opening" is not until September, although whether they are open and serving now is beyond me. The toll free number for them is 877-PS-Villa.

All Worlds

Yes, you are correct. It has definitely gone down hill and last I hard from a realtor client of mine in Palm Springs is that the property is on the Market. But All World's still owns it, it is still clothing optional. However, they no longer do regular adult film shoots there or the Sunday "get acquainted" meet and greets with porn models.
