There is that site where the founder was ousted and the barbaric 4 active posters raised their glasses with glee as they toasted one another. The other guy who oversees the site could care less about what the 4 posters do as he keeps writing about his "other plans."

 

Then there is the be invited site or be accepted not sure how it works. Different yes but it is pretty dead over there.

 

And last this site. Somewhat balanced not always the most entertaining anymore but it is fun to drive around the bad part of town once in a while ... as long as I can still sleep in my nice home.

Well, if that little exchange from taylor and Woodlawn doesn't speak volumes as to what kind of scumbags these people are (inventing criminal charges against someone in an attempt to quash their first amendment rights), I don't know what is.

 

These people are the Taliban of message boards.

Who said that anyone who doesn´t post on EscortSpeak is ``afraid´´ to do so? BoN only said that Jackhammer was afraid to do so. How did you possibly interpret that to mean that BoN was saying that everyone was afraid? Do you really have trouble understanding the difference between one person and everyone?

One of my favorite things to watch is the desperation which so blatantly characterizes the efforts to discredit that site. To do so, people like you have to constantly resort to outright lies (such as there are only 4 active posters there), precisely because the vibrancy and activity on that site (not to mention the number of people like you quietly reading it) are quite extraordinary for a site that´s been around for a couple months and has had no marketing efforts at all.

 

Since the facts demonstrate how remarkable that site´s health is, the only choice you have if you want to disparage it is to lie about it. Do you think that is doing anything other than making the people who want to believe this feel any better?

 

And, if it were the case that there were only 4 active posters there, that in itself would be rather remarkable and flattering, since the amount of attention and interest that site and its posters receive is such that it has become the Number One topic on this Board, far and away. That´s a pretty impressive accomplishment for 4 active posters.

 

And, by the way, using your definition of ``active posters´´, how many of those are there on this site? 30?

I love how people like you think that there´s something odd about having a venue for adults to discuss things without having a Daddy figure come and dictate and force discussions the way He wants. For most healthy adults, the odd arrangement would be having a Daddy who dictates and enforces Rules of Discussion to a grateful throng of obedient children, not the absence of such a Daddy.

Here´s a little rule: anyone on the Internet who writes things to convince others that they are rich and/or happy (´´I can still sleep in my nice home´´) are almost always neither.

Virtually the only topic about which Conway ever posts is Escort Speak and its posters, and he does so in virtually every thread related to the other site, with extreme passion and fury.

 

Pause for a moment to consider what this (indisputable) fact says about: (a) his level of obssession with the other site; (b) his complete emptiness as it regards everything else; and © the genuinely painful bile circulating in his bloodstream as a result of his uncontrollable, seething, unrelenting hatred for the other Board and its participants.

 

Honestly, when it comes to online fun, I find nothing more soothing and entertainingly satisfying than seeing someone whose internal life is literally being dominated and destroyed by people he dislikes online, as he struggles with complete futility to make it all stop.

I agree. I believe that there is a good reason for the other message center & that some "truths" needed to be told, especpially about HooBoy. However, some people have revealed sides of their personalities that are truly frightening. The Lucky is dead posts are about on the level of what a vicious third grader would post. More frightening are the attacks on anyone who disagrees, usually telling them to leave the site. For some one who wants the other site to succeed, those kind of postings make no sense. No wonder the number of postings are dropping, soon there may just be 4 or 5 people posting over there.

But it most assuredly does. You made a false statement in an effort to discredit me. I have given you one singular situation that meets that criteria. You have been unable to provide any others, as there are none. You know there are none. Therefore, you are lying.

 

Since you cannot produce any evidence to support your outlandish claim, you resort to a second personal attack to try and divert attention from your first. Nice try, but other than some of the Church Ladies, no one here is stupid enough to believe you.

I didn't say anyone. He may not want to post over there, due to his fear, but why the fascination with us?

The founder was "ousted" as you say due to some extremely bizarre behavior on the message center. It was neccesary for the integrity of the site. EBP does care about the site, but the rules are very simple: other than personally identifying information, anything goes. It's not neccesary to have an sort of oppressive presence to fit a predetermined mold of behavior.

 

I have enjoyed your posts here, 2004. I sincerely hope you are not morphing into a Church Lady.
