I'm 100% with you. The climb to $300 is getting ridiculous considering many of the escorts who want that amount.

 

I am not paying more than 200. Often less than that. Now and then I make exceptions, but not often.

 

Even my lawyer doesn't make $300.00 per hour.

 

Here in the DC area incalls go between 200 and 300, outcalls 240 to 300, 400 is he's a pornstar.

The question made me curious and I did a quick look at all the ads on Rentmen for Atlanta.

 

• There were 42 ads with Incall rates and the average was $211 and median $200. The minimum is $120 and maximum is $300.
   
  
• There were 55 ads with Outcall rates and the average was $235 and median $250. The minimum is $150 and maximum is $300.
   
  
• The average age is 29 (minimum is 18 and maximum is 57) and the median is 27 years old.
   
  
• There wasn't any correlation of rate to age
  
• I didn't grab any other fields on this pass like ethnicity, position, etc., but correlations to these elements may be interesting.
  

I'm not sure what all of this means; perhaps it's more interesting to watch over time to see if there are trends.

That amount may/will change for each of us depending on just how much the escort turns us on. I NEVER pay more than I am willing to pay for the services of any given escort. Although Backpage can be more dangerous than the better known escort sites, all sites have many fake and bogus ads.

 

While it is true that Backpage has thuggish looking guys advertising, every now and again a great escort is found on that awful site.

 

Give it a look. Looking does not mean you must buy.

If you find an ad interesting, do a Google search on the photos and the phone number. If anything comes back that gives you concern, move on to another escort. There are some good ones out there. You just have to do a little more work to out smart the scams and fakes.

My rate when I started was 250/280 and after 6 years I raised it to 280/320. Looking over Rentmen ads last week I found that most guys were doing incalls for between 225-250, but many higher and lower. There is no simple answer here, however I have to say, I'm annoyed when I'm traveling somewhere and someone messages me simply to tell me that I'm charging too much. I usually just ignore there email however sometimes I will let them know that I'm staying plenty busy so others must not agree.

I am also of the opinion that an escort is worth what the client is willing to pay. That said, some of my favorites, whom I've been seeing for years, are way under the going rates, especially if I hire them for multiple hours, which I always do!!!

I admit to being a windowshopper more than a buyer. For me, 200 is reasonable, 250 is doable if he really has the qualities I'm looking for, 300 is a "probably not" unless he's really someone I think is worth splurging for. Below 200 is great, but I would tend to proceed with a bit more caution. (I have met several guys that were in the 150-175 range who weren't bad, lol.)
