Not that much. From my experience, it's more of a gradual building than a an immediate boost. I think clients use this site to vet their choices rather than make an initial selection, so good reviews definitely help out in the long run but it's not as if your phone starts ringing that day.

When following the statistics of my personal website, the day a review is published, the number of visitors increase by 100% or more.

 

I think the decision to hire a particular escort can take a longer time to build versus those who hire in the spur of the moment.

I've noticed that myself - when a review is published, or an escort is discussed in the forum, I'll often seem them on the 'most viewed today' on Rentboy the next day.

Near the bottom of the page with the various listings of the sections of the forum, there is a place which notes the number of members and the number of active members. Right now, active members is 630 5033 members. 27457 people expelled for annoying Daddy.

Not really, you do get a few new interested parties and some new guys who make enquiries but it's hard to judge.

 

If you're a consistent escort, who sees on average two clients every day (sometimes 3 sometimes 2 , sometimes none) then it's hard to judge. If you got a review and then suddenly had the chance of five appointments a day, you could put it down to the review but I've rarely noticed a spike.

 

I have seen guys, who during the course of the appointment have referred to a review, instantly confirming how they found you, but apart from that you don't really notice an increase. There probably is an underlying change, or in some cases it just jogs the memory of past clients that you're still about and still worth seeing.

 

I try....wherever possible to ask clients where they found my advert. I usually mention it in passing. Sometimes they tell you, often they'll say "I found you online"' which doesn't help anything because you're reluctant to pry further, yet it's rare to hear the words "from a review".
