The mistake is in trying to state things as absolute rules. If you insert the the weasel words "tends to" or "tend to," it fixes everything. Black men "tend to" be larger than average. There are plenty of exceptions, but there is a tendency to be larger than average. Men with unusually large hands "tend to" be well hung, but not always and so on. I do think that men having large facial features, "tend to" be larger than average, but certainly not always.
