Maybe he'll have a cell next to the Giudice's....

the greatest beauty is

Organic wholeness, the wholeness of life and things,

the divine beauty of the universe.

Love that, not man apart from that,

or else you will share man’s pitiful confusions,

or drown in despair when his days darken."

I wouldn't like to have a fight with that woman in jail... I wouldn't even have dinner with her after the way she flipped that table.

What I don't get is why someone who suddenly becomes famous and wealthy has a hard time being honest about his income. What was his annual income before he was cast in Jersey Shore? Probably well under $100,000. One would think someone in his position could simply be happy about his good fortunes and be honest when filing his taxes.

Besides, "conspiracy to commit fraud", he doesn't even know how to spell that kind of words...

His tanning salon is just around the corner from my home and his cousin used to work for me and from what is told to me and what is reported in the local papers, it seems he fell in with some unsavory characters who promised him the moon and wound up giving him the shaft. It seems likely he is headed for a suspended sentence and restituion of back taxes. It does not look like he is as bad off as Richard Hatch from Survivor who did serve time for tax evasion.

I have never seen a purplekow :)

I hope I never see one ;)

But I can tell you this and how I would rather see than be one :D

Help there is a purplekow in my mirror

It's not that they take a long time, it's that the IRS usually gives people an opportunity to make good before taking extreme actions. I had a client once who didn't file taxes for nearly a decade even though her husband was operating a sole-proprietorship as a trucker. She received numerous letters and phone calls and ignored all of them. It was only when the IRS began garnishing her income that she came in to see me to fix everything. She told me she thought didn't have to file anymore because she was over 65. To compound the bad news, based on her husband income and expenses, she could have received refunds for a couple of the years if had she filed in time but those returns had passed the 3 year limit to claim a refund.

Good point yet for me a decade is a long time for judicial/legal uncertainty, most crimes can't be prosecuted 10 years after they were committed (status of limitation)

That is true and normally the limit for the IRS to collect back taxes is 10 years. However, I believe if fraud is involved, they be allowed to go back further.
