You are assuming that everyone wears cockrings for hardness. That is not the case.

 

I always wear a very lose metal cockring and that is because I am a tropical animal and get cold too easy. I think they're hot on other guys. I've tried many types and keep several around in case the moods strikes. Leather? OK but not necessarily easy to adjust. Metal? Like was previously stated I've always worried that I'd find myself in an ER getting it cut off. Rubber? I have a tough time putting them on.
