thanks! Contacted Peter Hung and didn't get a response yet. Sailor is not my type at all. Also contacted Ben Atwood with no response yet. Derek Atlas responded to me but he is already booked for the evening.

 

Can't blame a guy for trying :)

 

My experience from being in Las Vegas unexpectedly twice within a month about 4 years ago (first time was due to being re-routed there after a flight cancellation) is that Peter Hung doesn't usually take last minute appointments. I think he even used to mention that on his website. And if memory serves, at least one of the times it wasn't that he was busy with a client. He just wasn't into meeting guys on the spur of the moment.

In defense of Peter, he does get booked pretty far ahead, has many regulars, travels often and has a number of private business interests, all of which keep him quite busy!

Although I might feel differently if I wanted to meet him at the spur of the moment, I admire his honesty and his sticking to his principles.

I wasn't trying to denigrate, Peter. He has a right to see guys when and where he wants- although it was disappointing. It was just a prognostication on the chances of Kaboom being able to meet Peter last minute.

PS Just as an aside-I wasn't able to meet up with anyone that night. Las Vegas currently has about 74 guys advertising on Rentboy. I don't think they had that many then. But there were still probably over 30 guys. It was a very disappointing evening. I think I ended up eating dinner by myself really late at a Maggiano's or some other restaurant on The Strip.

I was in the Caribbean with a client and had long flights therefore I was unable to respond in a timely manner. Even if I was, I do not take last minute appointments from prospective clients I have not met previously OR do not have an established track record here on the forum as a safety precaution.

Your understanding is very much appreciated.

Some late advice that won't do you any good at this point I'm sure. While Ben Atwood is definitely a beautiful boy, I think you will sorely be disappointed if you are trying to hire him as a take charge top. Paul Pratt is s good top.
