because you showed initial interest, he's probably just trying to make it happen....we all get calls from salespeople.....I don't know how close you got to actually meeting, but one polite reply from you that you decided not to meet might do the trick....otherwise, you'll just have to ignore his texts....he doesn't have your private/personal info, does he?.....so far, this doesn't seem to be a crisis

seems to me he's just trying to land a customer and make a buck. Nothing wrong with that. I get calls every once in a while from one of my masseurs, asking if I'd like to see him "tonight," and I often say to myself, Yeah, I ought to have him come over, and within a week or so, I call him. I don't see anything unusual here. If you're no longer interested, say so in a nice way. That should do it.

You needn't worry, but yes, if you''re no longer interested just say so (always thank him for his interest and time). I've had escorts contact me, whether we've met or I just indicated interest. I try to respond (whether positively or not), just to be polite!

Blocking would prevent you from contacting him in the future, just say that you're busy and you'll call him back later.

I don't think it is usual, but I also don't think it is unusual, either. It just is. Some guys are good at following up and others are not. From what you've said it is hard to tell whether he has reached out one time (which I think is kind of nice) or several times (less nice) and whether you are still interested in meeting up. If you are interested in meeting, but can't do so right now, tell him so and offer to contact him when you are ready. Maybe you could say something like "hey, thanks for following up. Can't get together for the foreseeable future, but I will let you know when I can." If you do not want to get together, then tell him you changed your mind.

But there are also quite a few very "unprofessional" ones out there, and blocking his number is also my own statement that, "NO I never want to meet you again."

 

Some do not take a hint; that leaves little option than to block them to stop the annoying texts and calls once and for all.

Some of this depends on your replies. His first text back to you seems reasonable. I've had a few guys follow up with a "If you're still interested" text, e-mail or call after a missed opportunity. Have you been responding with a definitive "not interested" or have you provided tentative replies that keep things open?

Not that unusual. Some guys are good with communications, some guys are new and eager, some guys are awful. I tell 'em "I'll contact you when I'm ready to set-up a meeting." If they can't understand that and persist, I ignore 'em or block 'em and end communication.
