Another great DC Forum Meetup is in the books. Mega-thanks to the Legendary Dave for organizing the event this year! It was an enormous amount of work, and I'm sure everyone is grateful for all the time and effort you expended to make it a successful party. And thanks to Leigh Bess Toad for starting the whole tradition five years ago. It was great to meet so many new folks, see old friends, and just hang out. And extra thanks to Dave for hosting a small gathering in his "studio" after lunch, where many things were demonstrated, many questions were answered, and many pieces of equipment were used. ;-) Let's do it again next year!

It's always a risk to make major changes to an established event—and Dave pulled it off with no issues whatsoever. Thanks to him and to ArVaGuy and PK, everyone who attended (especially anyone new), and the staff of the restaurant who quite literally bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and special.

This was an amazing event! It is one of the highlights of my year. Im glad to see everyone enjoyed. The two new boys I brought got to see a little bit more about the community and what not which was great for them. Thanks xo until next year

I got to catch up with old friends and meet some new friends and all in all it was a blast. Also, thanks to ArVaGuy for putting the Saturday dinner/strip club together.. and also for babysitting me. Finally, thanks to Brandan Steele, who spent the weekend with me and made it perfect. I was great to meet PK, what a gentleman as were all the forum members who were there. I classy group of men for sure. Maybe I could learn something about class?!

Would a gentleman consider strangling you and then having his way with your escort? Well this gentleman did. Only for a second or twenty and in reality the strangling was only to submission not to the death, unless that was going to be absolutely necessary in order to get to your friend. Of course, you are not so bad yourself big boy. Perhaps we can trip the light fantastic in western New York if I ever visit my Alma Mater.

As a newbie to both MAL and the luncheon, (and really to this forum) I had a lot to learn last week in DC. I have to say the most gratifying thing I learned was that the people who I knew by their name on this forum turned out to be incredibly welcoming, kind, and fun people, with really interesting stories. Dave (Legendary) "encouraged" me to come and promised me he wouldn't do so if he didn't believe I would really enjoy it, aware as he was of my tendency to be quite shy around strangers. He couldn't have been more right!

 

But I wanted to comment on the demo scene that happened in Dave's apartment post luncheon, as mentioned by PeneAmpio above (who I also truly enjoyed getting to know). The demo segment of the weekend made the biggest impression on this newbie, but I've been hesitant to write about it, partly because it felt kinda private and intimate. The dynamic for the observers was that for part of the time, we were Dave's students, but for the rest of the time, we were really voyeurs. Dave alternated pretty seamlessly and frequently between Socrates and Marquis de Sade! When he was Socrates, he was enlightening, insightful, caring, answered questions we had before we asked them, and really quite impressive. But when he was MdeS, he really got very much into a zone that showed on his face and sounded in his voice. And that was hot as FUCK.

 

I've hesitated to write about it also for a few other reasons, including wanting to respect the privacy of the few volunteers who had the balls to jump into a demo scene with Marquis de Sade...er, I mean Dave (I didn't but now I really wish I did), and frankly, feeling a bit awkward about how boned I became watching Dave do what he does when I was supposed to be "in class".

 

And I don't think I'm the only one who felt that way because as I looked around the room, most of the men there seemed to become hotter and harder by the second when Dave was with Niles (a subby friend of his that he brought in for us to watch) - kissing, groping, grinding,...well, let's just say at one point there was more than one scene going on.

 

I guess the bottom line for me is this -- I don't know if I'd come back to DC next year for MAL -- but I'll definitely return for the luncheon. And if we're fortunate enough for Legendary Dave to offer another demo scene at his place, I'll be there. You should be too.

Wanted to comment on this spectacular event at Dave's apartment after the luncheon(Known as "The Demo") as I was there, and have to agree with the others who commented on the forum that the Demo class was "quite" interesting, and most of all - a "Tour De Force" experience as I'll never forget the many adventures that took place at your apartment....EVER. Wink. Quite pleased and honored to have been there with some of the forum members(who I enjoyed tremendously in getting to know quite a great deal), and to see Dave in "Action". At first I wasn't going to go to the see the Demo as I was kinda tired from the luncheon and had an appointment later on that evening, but Dave ask me to come as I was more then happy to be supportive and see what this "Demo" class was all about - Boy was I(and the other forum members and escorts who were there) in for the ride of my life by witnessing all the demonstrations that took in that apartment along with a few other surprises that took place. Wink. I didn't know such demonstrations existed, but taught us all some new ideas to use with future mates. Had a great time getting to know all of you that were there as you know who you are. Hope all of you that were there enjoyed getting to know me as well I enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you as this Demo was great way to know one another and to explore different perspectives and views in the "sexual culture". Gay or Straight - all across the board.

 

Way to go, Dave as you were magnificent as a teacher during the demonstrations, and tip my hat off to you for showing us some new lessons in "pleasing your mate" I should say. LOL. Well Job - Well done my friend. .
