Do you want this to be a surprise or will your friend already know before the escort arrives? As for my experiences on escort end of things it works much better if the person receiving the gift knows ahead of time then if there are any issues at all it's at least less. Showing up when the person receiving the escort is surprised can be awkward from my experience for both parties.
