He's in DC right now. I called a few days before his visit to schedule something, and he told me to call him when he was in town. I called him last night and in the middle of making an appointment the connection was bad and the call was disconnected. When I went to call him back, the call wouldn't go through. I tried again today and it rings twice then disconnects.

DC Guy I had a somewhat similar adventure in trying to schedule him. I texted -- not knowing he was not yet in DC. He called, but the connection was weird -- I picked up, he would not respond, then I heard some clicking noises (e.g. taping) and finally we chatted briefly but he did not confirm anything. Later I fortunately had to be out of town and so I cancelled. Another deal-breaker is he is staying (purportedly) out by Dulles and that is a good 50-60 minute drive each way for me... not worth the effort.

I'll preface this by saying 1) I have no first-hand experience with Dick/Habib/Tom/Thanos; 2) over the years he has piqued my curiosity but my Spidey sense has told me to look elsewhere; and 3) I typically don't subscribe to the view that massagem4m reviews can't be trusted. However, something does not sit right with his reviews.

 

"Dick" originally advertised as "Rugged Thanos." His ads played up his being a rugby player, being of Greek/Arab descent, and his masculinity (at one point his ad copy referenced that a purse would not fall out of his mouth when he talked). Wouldn't you know it, many of his reviews talk about his Greek/Arab dick, his masculinity, and one from 2010 mentioned how a purse would fall out of the mouth of another masseur. However, none of his reviews discuss his massage techniques or the massage itself. Well, that's not entirely true. The negative reviews do mention his technique, which seems to be more of a rub than a massage.

 

In addition, his reviews dating back to 2007 refer to him as "Dick" when at that point he was advertising as "Thanos." As recently as May, 2014, he was known as "Tom." How could reviews written when he was "Thanos" or "Tom" now reference "Dick?" Were they changed? If so, what else was changed?

 

I wish I could provide some first-hand information, but I can't. Maybe we can take up a collection and you can be our guinea pig.

I saw him for a massage a few years ago when he went by the name of Thanos. He said he was really into fucking - he would fuck anything, anywhere, anytime. He also had this really weird voice - I simply can't describe it. But, I went for the massage: his apartment was small, cluttered, well, actually dirty with piles of laundry, sheets, etc. all over the place. funguy - your comments made me review again that phone conversation and, yeah, there was something very odd - weird?? - about his voice. So much so that after we finished the conversation, I sort of put him from my mind, and when something else came up calling me outside of town for the weekend, I had an excuse to just cancel (although cancelling what?? I kept asking him to confirm a time and day (Saturday or Sunday) that he never did.

 

Voice contact for me with the escort is becoming more and more required. A few weeks ago in Boston, before I struck a treasure with Matt Hyland (very positive review is in cue), I considered a massage with a guy who had a look I like a LOT. +1 about the voice. Thanos/Tom is my type and who doesn't like a big dick? But on two separate occasions while in LA I called him about an appointment. Both times I couldn't get past the voice. My "spidey sense" also kept me from following through. But as everything in life (and when hiring), ymmv.

I find it funny to see this thread. I posted a negative experience also some time ago, and was criticized publicly and through PM's for my response. Obviously I am not alone in my opinion of him. I have always been clear, some of my friends in LA loved him, me, not so much. Each to his own.

Funny I don't particularly remember his voice being annoying. He seemed like a nice enough guy when I saw him years ago. I think i saw him twice first time massage 2nd time a bit more. He was really into dirty talk and to be honest I always want to laugh when I hear really bad porn dialogue in real life. I think it was what kept me from seeing him again. I'm so appreciative of the feedback. He called me back a couple of days ago and said he's been have phone issues since he arrived. Apparently he moved to another hotel, but he's now in Silver Spring. Still not convenient to where I live. Regarding his voice, it sounded like an Australian accent to me. He was very friendly. I'm not sure why he has changed his name so many times, but that's a red flag for me.

Don't get it twisted Draker, You weren't there! When someone posts pictures on line, and advertises himself to be something that he is clearly not, and that shows himself years younger, THINNER than they really are, and I go to see them, and waste my time, Damn straight I'm going to leave.
