For what it's worth, I thought the kudos were a bit OTT and misplaced. Michael Cera still isn't a natural stage actor IMHO but shows tremendous promise and has moments of extraordinary poignancy. Kieran Culkin is solid (there's a brief scene in Act I where he dances suggestively and homoerotically, and it's surprisingly sexy as I'd never considered him that attractive). But I simply could not believe Tavi Gevinson. Although she had moments of -- how to put this? -- reasonably naturalistic acting (enough to wonder if the director led her astray), for the most part she was unbearably stilted and awkward. In a three-hander that's fatal. Just one man's opinion
