Then there's the classic sign: "ATTACK CAT ON PREMISES." We bought the sign in honor of a cat who legitimately deserved it -- her water bowl read "CAT FROM HELL" and she bloodied every vet she ever saw except one; the vet she saw most often greeted her at every visit with "How's the old bitch today?" -- but never put it up.
