They're scammers. All of Jeff/Ray's pics could possibly be legit since I couldn't find them anywhere else but his dick pic is "borrowed" from someone else's porn shoot. His partner's pics on the other hand are all over the place and have been appearing on Twitter and Tumblr for quite some time as well as being used by other escorts.

 

I contacted them for an appt and mentioned this. They offered to send a selfie to confirm that it really was them. When I asked if they would send a selfie of the two of them together I got nothing but excuses as to why they couldn't i.e. one is out at the bank, the other is with a client, etc.

So why do you find it necessary to point this out? More than once. I don't think it's very respectful of you to make jokes at what are legitimate categories of kink/fetish and thereby indirectly shaming folks for possibly participating in those acts. Why is it that so many people who hire and are asked to pay up front do so EVEN THO THEY KNOW FROM THE START THAT IT IS A SCAM? And then tell us they did so? The first indication of scam is that the guys who showed up are NOT the guys in the pix. The second: "pay me now". The third: watching South Park when they should be attending to you.

 

Aren't there enough guys out there who are legit, hot, and want to please?

While it's easy to say what should have been done, we don't know Mouse's particular situation. Perhaps he must be extremely discrete and was afraid to cause a scene that would draw unwanted attention to the situation. Mouse...Please forgive me…I did not mean my response to be a put down. I was simply asking the question. We have so many posts about payment up front, scams, etc.

 

And i do thank you for your considerate post as to warning re: these guys. It's always nice to have someone post about scams.

My frustration comes from the sheer volume of fakes out there. How do you know who is real and who until you're actually meeting them face-to-face? Especially if they don't have reviews, and sometimes even if they do.

 

Thank goodness for Goggle image search but with so many people posting "selfies" these days it's even easier for guys to steal other people's images from Twitter and Tumblr claiming to be them. One guy offered to send me a selfie as proof he was real and then sent me a stolen selfie. When I got to the appt, he looked nothing like the guy in the ad and I left but I had insisted on meeting in a Starbucks prior to the appt so if I saw he was a fake I didn't have to worry about already being in the room.

 

Even reviewed escorts have recently proven to be fakes. I notified Daddy of one since the escort had no face pics in his ad. I asked for a face pic after we made the appt so I would know who to look for and he sent me candid photos from a fitness model's Facebook page. Again, luckily for Goggle image search I was able to determine that the model he was claiming to be was in Los Angeles at the time of the appt while I was in NYC. I cancelled immediately but this is an escort with multiple reviews which makes me think the reviews are fakes as well, thus my contacting Daddy.

 

Again, the fakes and scammers seem to be taking over and how do you separate the wheat from the chaff?

No worries, Funguy. I totally understand what you meant. I hire enough to understand all the red flags. For what ever reason I paid him upfront, even though I usually never do. But I was curious. Even though he wasn't the dude in the picture, he was still really good looking and I thought I'd give it a shot. Either I would enjoy myself, or I'd report back here with what happened (since I read this thread before I saw him.)
