Not sure if Jackhammer was at the game, but his Los Angeles Dodgers Friday celebrated LGBT Night Out with actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. Mary Lambert sang the national anthem, and gays held hands during the post-game fireworks show. The NY Times reports on the event, one of many in baseball now as 18 of the 30 teams have now hosted gay-themed events. That these are no longer considered political events is a milestone in gay rights. See the Times article for a a detailed look at the trend and the night in LA: http://http://www.nytimes.com/2014/08/24/sports/gays-and-sports-intersect-more-easily-in-the-stands.html?ref=sports

Yes, I was at the game that night although in a wheel chair. When they wheeled me to my seat it was through the tunnels under the stadium where I ran into Jesse Tyler Ferguson and the others as they waited to be introduced. It was a great evening, one of my first out after being in the hospital for a month and I loved seeing so many in the crowd who were family.
