This is sort of a "companion piece" to the thread on Escorts Talking Negatively (On the Forum) About Other Escorts.

 

Privately, I've heard many more favorable remarks by one escort about another than negative ones. One of the exceptions--a minor slap and an amusing one--happened when I was lamenting the reluctance of a particular escort to kiss. I made a remark about it to a guy who I know is his friend. At first, he sounded surprised, "He won't kiss?" "He'd rather not," I said. After he'd thought about that for a minute, he said, "Well, he's not very good at it."

 

Way at the other end of the spectrum was getting an (uninvited, unwelcome) Private Message (from an escort I don't know) reporting the HIV status and sexual practices of another escort. It was so personal, so gleefully mean-spirited, that first I wondered about the man's state of mind and then I decided to cut back on the time I was spending here. (I was reminded by a forum friend that I could block PMs from particular individuals, but I've still been less inclined to participate in the forum since then--probably just how I was supposed to feel.)

Escort A, a well-reviewed guy here, once commented on several other escorts to me. Unfortunately, I remember only the comment about Escort B, whom I like very much, who has awards from this forum, and who has many more reviews than Escort A. But Escort A said, "Escort B? He's a disaster." Just the one word, but it struck me as totally uncalled for and strangely harsh.
