Just wondering if anyone understands the changes to T-Mobile's cell phone plans. I realize that their coverage isn't great in the sticks, but it's quite good in urban areas. I've used them for years because as a GSM provider with an unlocked phone it was easy to swap out sim cards in Europe. When they started giving out free data and text in foreign countries when you used your US phone it was great, but I understood they were doing it to get people to switch, but now they've changed plans to no longer charge for overages in talk minutes, text or data. I may be dense but shouldn't I and everyone else just switch to the cheapest plan they have since there are no overages? Doesn't seem like there's much benefit to being on a more expensive plan anymore.
