I believe the way it works is that a post is made concerning a no-show by an escort. If it’s a “popular” escort, then all the flying monkeys swoop down to attack the poster as being a hater and/or a detractor. Some will even post how they know the escort, and he’s never no-showed on them, as if this has any bearing on the OP’s experience. Before it gets too bloody, someone orders pizza, and the thread gets closed.

Damn those "flying monkeys"... BTW... Excellent summation.. LMAO

Flying the naked skys...

This actually has been asked twice in the last few days. Here's the answer I gave the other gentleman:

Do you unconditionally trust this person? Then don't send them money especially through Paypal. There are very few escorts in the world that I'd ever do this with.

I worked for many years as a Consultant; I always flew in on my dime because in most cases I wasn't willing to give people my personal information. If that is not practical, I would suggest the use of a travel agent who will be more than happy to tell you about refundable or reusable alternatives.

The other alternative is to fly to them.

My personal recommendation is that any fees go in an unsealed envelope to be delivered after the encounter.

OK, Daddy, add me to the list of people frustrated by this question. You had the time to chime in on the tangential question of whether flying someone in is wise, but the original question still remains:

In cases where the client has lost money due to a no-show, is it this site's policy:

A) No-show reviews/posts are never allowed.

B) No-show reviews/posts are allowed only when a financial loss has occurred.

C) No-show reviews are considered on a case-by-case basis, and may be allowed or disallowed based solely on the discretion of management.

D) Members of this forum should mind their own business and not ask about Daddy's policies.

Any of these options is within Daddy's prerogatives, but it seems reasonable that we should have a definitive answer.

That's easy and already covered by the FAQ:

C) No-show reviews are considered on a case-by-case basis, and may be allowed or disallowed based solely on the discretion of management.

Do you take "No-Show" reviews?

In general we look at these on a case-by-case basis. In general we "Hold" these type of reviews because it is very difficult to verify this type of situation.

However, The OP may want to read the very next FAQ entry.

As a funguy, I have always found it more fun to go to them. Cost is the same for the visit and hotel AND you get to see a new city. May even be easier to schedule for the escort.

As always,

Funguy

I agree completely, but the strangest no-show I ever had was when I made an appointment, went to the escort's apartment, and he refused to answer the door or the phone, although I could tell he was there. The next week his ad was gone.

Corndog, the bottom line in all of this for me:

If you prepay an escort's airline ticket and he is a no-show, you may or may not be allowed to warn other Forum members in a post, depending on the circumstances and ultimately Daddy's decision. I would speculate that your standing and history on here would play a role. Someone who has been posting here for years and generally contributes positively I think would be much more likely to get that warning post up over someone who is new or someone who clearly holds vendettas or generally posts negatively.

Now if it came down to a well-regarded escort and a well-regarded Forum member disputing the circumstances of an airline fly-in no-show, I'm not sure which way it would go, but since the policy leans toward the protection of the escort's reputation vs. the protection of our money, I would assume a tie goes to the escort.

The reviews, especially if an escort gets a number of well-written ones, are a good indicator of probable results with your encounter once the escort is there.* They are not so helpful if he's a good escort with a bad habit of missing flights. That's one aspect of hiring where we're going to have to go mostly on private word-of-mouth, gut instinct, booking refundable tickets and an assessment of your own risk tolerance (which mine in this regard is obviously low).

* I probably bat 80% to 90% on reviews, although this past year, I was warned off a no-review escort who turned out to be great and I hired someone everyone was on fire about and who had fantastic reviews, and it was a lukewarm encounter. So there are no guarantees, but the reviews usually point you in the right direction. I've definitely booked some great encounters based on those reviews.

I could be wrong, since the only clarification is in regards to posting "official" reviews, but members have on countless occasions posted warnings about no-shows. Daddy has permitted those comments to stand. I think there is a fine line between a comment and a review, where that line is, only Daddy could tell you, but if his previous comment is true, then much of this would be on a case by case basis. Daddy has been doing this long enough to know in his gut the intent of the person making the post.

My feeling is that it would depend on what is said in the post, and what the intention was of the client who posted it. Just my opinion, as Daddy has said, much of this "just depends" on a variety of factors, and often times Daddy is privy to information that the rest of the board is not, so when Daddy posts warnings that reviews are not permitted on the board, I trust he knows of what he speaks.

Undoubtedly the record for the biggest kiss ass post on the Forum. A lot of informational posts on all sides of this issue have been posted with specific procedural questions. This is pure rambling generalizations fortified with the usual "My feeling" or "Just my opinion"
