I am getting many many inquiries for my services regarding BAREBACKING. These guys are sweet and nice until i tell them that i practice and promote SAFE sex all over the usa. Then they refuse to book and get distant, dismissive and often nasty towards me. I called several buddies in the biz over the last week and the same thing is happening all over the country. It is obviously the fad now and the thing of the moment. I am also encountering more MEAN, NASTY and outright RUDE potential new clients than ever before who demand RIGHT NOW and if i am not available RIGHT NOW they cop an attitude. Then we have the ,"party," crowd who expect me to be in the same room where they poseess and use illegal narcotics and risk getting busted or a trip to the ER. back to the point: as a TOP i dont mind condoms as long as they fit me. They take away a little pleasure but to off set that they help me LAST LONGER. i find that with a condom on sometimes i have to concentrate on staying hard but i dont lose my erection very often. Being a top i am not really sure how much different the sensation is for the bottom whether the top has on a condom? But is it worth the risk of a possible std or hiv?????????????????????? http://www.rentmen.com/mikeyusatop

First, to answer your last question. For me, the difference in sensation is negligible. I would notice enough to know if someone who was supposed to be covered wasn't. But overall, no. Especially when you compare to the difference it feels when you're the top.

As to the rest of your post. Don't change who you are. (not that you were considering it.) You're right. They're wrong.

I know your ad says "safe only", but in the text it also says you don't have any limits. Mixed messages maybe? Perhaps you could say 1-2 hours notice usually required? And just for my own personal preference I would add, LESS CAPS. The back and forth is distracting.

Yeah, technically if you say you have NO LIMITS I assume that to mean being open to whatever. BB and drugs namely.

MIKEY, I found your post to be most interesting and agree with the two previous posters in "ALL" respects. Continue your "SAFER SEXUAL" practices; you'll be the better for doing so!

If all of those men who "BAREBACK" really knew the real effects of HIV/AIDS on their bodies overall as well as how it has affected those of us who have seen it first hand in terms of friends and relatives suffering, they'd give second and third thoughts about BAREBACKING! Also, other STDs and STI's are NOTHING to take lightly as well.

Two nights ago I was at a meeting where the Director of Health in our county relayed the high incidence of STDs and STIs in our country amongst those individuals who refuse to "practice safer sex" by using condoms as a deterrent. I was baffled as well as upset! I sat and thought and said to myself: "If they only knew!"

Again, continue to do as you have been doing!

Mikey,

Put clearly in the body of your ad: safe only, no barebacking, no party, no drugs ... IN ALL CAPS of course.[/color] ;)

or make it cute..

Guest Starbuck

There must have been some discussion of this (maybe before I started coming to the forum) but I've never bumped into it and this thread has me wondering ...

I'm aware that there are particular escorts who are at least PRESUMED to be HIV+. (And there are certainly lots of questionable claims that are easy to find online from people who allegedly "know for sure" that some guy--often a combination pornstar/escort--is positive.) For those of us who want to stay healthy, I agree that we have to assume the worst and play safely. But here's my question if barebacking is on the rise ...

Aren't working guys who are HIV+ and are willing to bareback putting themselves at legal risk (or maybe I should say, at greater legal risk) if they DON'T disclose their status to clients? Aren't there men (not necessarily escorts, just guys having unprotected sex) who have been prosecuted and jailed for infecting others who were uninformed about their status? Is this not a circumstance that has ever occurred with escorts and clients ... or does the fact that a client willingly paid for time (whether or not he was fully informed) complicate this issue?

I am absolutely shocked by the SMALL response to this op. This is a monstrously important topic. The silence perhaps indicates that the majority here are pro-bareback?????? If not then yall speak up. It is also wrong to assume anything. "no limits," means that i am not a stand offish or stand and pose model who wont have fun with the client. It has meant that in my ads for twenty years and the meaning has not changed. Ads that say i wont do this and i wont do that are a total turnoff. What is wrong is for an asshole potential client to assume any escort uses hard drugs or will drop everything to see him in 30 minutes. Try pulling that on your doctor. We are pros too and we have pride too.

Mikey, You should have stopped after discussing the disturbing number of calls for barebacking. By moving the discussion to angry demands for almost immediate service and then drugs, you changed the focus of your post. I also believe that led to people reading your ad more closely, and commenting on your "no limits" claim.

Also, you were probably hurt by Joey Bryant's several threads on how awful escorting can be for him.

You are a well respected escort, I hope things work out for you.

Maybe there haven't been many responses because there isn't much to add beyond what people have posted. I rarely feel the need to pile on a "yeah, that's right" comment about something that doesn't personally impact me (I'm not an escort and I guess I'm not hot enough to be hit on by random guys on line, so I don't personally encounter a parade of men asking me to bareback). And since you don't seem to be open to the constructive criticism that others have offered (you may think that "no limits" means "no attitude" and that readers of your ad will interpret it that way, but the others who have already posted in this thread who have told you that MANY people interpret "no limits" as meaning you're willing to do anything sexually, including bareback, are speaking the truth), what's the point in commenting further? I think the others were just trying to help you become less frustrated by suggesting that you could make some minor changes to your ad that would probably result in fewer irritating requests coming your way.

I have little to add on the discussion about barebacking- you gentlemen summed the matter up quite eloquently. But I would say that when I see "No limits" in an ad, I assume it to mean that the escort will top, bottom, etc. with some fetish stuff thrown in. I also take it to mean that bare sex is at least negotiable. I was surprised to learn that it means something else to other people. Misunderstanding something in the as is no reason to be rude, but I agree that Mikey may want to tweak his wording a bit so that guys who like it bare know to look elsewhere.

I'm an escort too and I seldom receive any requests for barebacking. I thought no response was needed to your rant, Mikey, but since you insist there you go: for someone who reads your ad, "no limits" sends the same message as UNINHIBITED !! If you choose to ignore what other respecting posters pointed out, don't get upset and come up with angry remarks about barebacking requests.
