As far as I understand it, PNP implies hard drug use (generally stronger than marijuana), but doesn't explicitly imply barebacking. However, I think it is generally assumed that when hard drugs are part of the equation, users will lose their inhibitions, make bad decisions, and fail to follow safer sex practices.

I guess it is theoretically possible that an escort who advertises "PNP" won't partake but is tolerant of clients on drugs, but I think this is the exception rather than the rule.

In conclusion, I think that an escort who advertises "PNP" and "Safe Only" is at the very least lying to themselves, and very probably lying to you too.

When vetting new escorts, the PNP in their list of activities always raises for me s half-raised red flag. I then check what they say for drug use and am confused when they say "You can," -- but for a few guys who really interest me, if that is all (and they do mark down no bareback, safe only) I have proceeded to hire but always let them know up front that I do not tolerate any drug use whatsoever.

I am friends with a few escorts who have told me their own stories of clients (without naming them, of course) who, when they arrive either are high already on drugs, or want them to participate in drugs (and in not a few cases, even expect the escort to supply them, along with condoms, poppers, lube etc...). These are clients who do PARTY AND PLAY and often expect the escort to be not only tolerant but compliant. The time, they sure are a changin'! Daverwr, just clarify with a guy your own views and acceptance/tolerance or limits on any drug use; it is still in this day and age a roll of the dice.

I'm confused. I see a lot of ads with notations of "PNP" and "Safe Only". Isn't the definition of Party and Play drug use and bareback sex? Not withstanding the drug use, is there such a thing as Safe PNP?

There might be different explanations and interpretations for this.

It's plausible that some non-native English speakers don't understand the meaning of "PNP". Others will tick every existing box under talents/preferences, which may lead to inconsistencies.

Your best bet is to check directly with the source.

The problem with PNP is that most people have erection difficulties so it makes the whole safe sex allot more difficult.

Actually, I would think just the opposite - if there are erection difficulties, then anal sex is probably off the table and isn't unprotected anal sex the real culprit in most HIV infections?

Yes but you're thinking in logical terms. When people get high and horny as hell I think it's safe to assume that they also don't make the best decisions.
