Not to start a fight, but I don't see anywhere someone saying taller is better or being smug about it. A question was asked... most answered, some expressed their preference through experience, some don't care as you reiterated.

 

Personally... yes... I'm taller than average, but I don't care how short or tall someone is... hot is hot. Different escorts of various sizes have brought me a great deal of pleasure.

 

Please don't see this as attack, but I guess my perception of the postings are different.

I used to get picked on a bit for being taller than the rest of the kids. I don't know what you went through, but I didn't feel good about being picked on something I had no control over. Sorry if you got picked on over you're height... but kids/adults can be mean bastards. LOL!

Thanks to all for the answers. Fascinating responses. And it certainly seems like Bostonman is the winner in the "biggest height discrepancy" between guys contest. I was asking this because one guy I'm going to be meeting (not an escort, just someone on Grindr) is 6'9" and I'm 5'6". Before that, Chris Eisenhower and Lance Navarro (both at 6'4") had been the tallest. But this is another level almost.

 

And philmusc -- at 5'6" I'm in the shorties range. Virtually Hobbitt sized. Yes, I've been called a pocket gay at times. Which I kind of think is funny because I sure would have fun in someone's pocket. My 6'9" guy on his profile says "I'm not a jock but I'll wear one when we meet". I'm sure he's tired of being asked about playing basketball, how's the weather up there, etc. Height is what you make of it. I am not the least bit insecure being 5'6". It is what it is. And I can do no more about that than dick size. In the end, height doesn't make a damned bit of difference in bed. If you are confident in what you do, you can overcome something as insignificant as height difference. Even if that difference is 15".

Gosh, LBT, I had you sooo wrong - I just assumed you were a six-footer. While I agree with virtually everything you wrote, I think sometimes we shorties are overlooked (and to be fair, someone who is 6'4" and above might not even notice us - we wouldn't even be in his range of vision). But if we're not even in the running, it doesn't matter what happens when we're horizontal if we don't even get through the threshold point of being noticed.

Ah yes, it happens - me, too. Used to be 5'11" - now 5'9'', but somehow I don't feel any shorter.

I am 5-11, but I find those 5-4 to 5-7 range guys who are fit to be very sexy -- they have a tight, compact musculature and a way of moving I just love. Some really tall guys tend to be unwieldy and awkward (I say that knowing I myself am unwieldy and awkward and I'm not even 6 feet).. Of course, other really tall guys wear it well and it's sexy. Then sometimes it's sexy to be eye-to-eye with another 5-11 guy.

My personal trainer has told me more than once that guys of average or shorter height have an easier time getting defined musculature than taller guys. One of my ex boyfriends was certainly a case in that point. Guys my height tend to look lanky or huge and bulky. I still wonder if there is any validity to what my trainer is saying though.

that guys with shorter upper arms have an easier time getting bigger appearing biceps.

 

Being a fan of mutual oral, I can offer anecdotal evidence that torso length varies less than height, but that there have been

a couple of guys I was with (a few years ago), who were taller in that way, that made it a challenge
