Okay, I don't know if I'm just imagining it or not...but I don't think so since I've done history on it. But it seems as if almost every email reply I get from a yahoo address turns out to either be spam, or someone you email once and never responds back. The reason I mention the mind-games is, someone (I think Xander) mentioned where they received emails to renew their men4rent, but it was a bogus client or something...I don't recall the specifics.

This has just turned into a tell-tale epidemic. I have looked over several emails in the past from people who've contacted me from yahoo versus either company emails or gmail. Yahoo tends to always be the ones that flake out or don't respond. I actually renewed my men4rent ad...and sulked when I seen that ALL 6 ad responses were from YAHOO email addressed. Because I already knew, where it would go. Nowhere. Not 1 person has responded back to me. Actually, 1 person did...saying they'd send me a check if I gave them my address.

Just wondering if anyone has taken the route to ignore all yahoo email addresses, as that's what I am considering doing. Although they don't always come from men4rent, they do moreso than other sites.

My non-work-sex-related email is on yahoo. I've never flaked out on an escort. (Although in these uncertain economic times I haven't been doing much hiring lately).

So, like everything else it becomes a buisiness proposition - how much potenential revenue would you loose by outlawing yahoo accounts versus how much opportunity cost have you incurred by responding to yahoo emails?

(And how much ill will would you generate by not responding to inquiries, which in turn, might be communicated to other

potential clients ?)

I've had my yahoo account for at *least* a dozen years.

Do you think my mail is going to spam all the time? But, I'm sure people check spam right?

It just seems odd though. Especially ones that end in '123@yahoo.com'. But it just never fails...I email someone back to a yahoo address and they never respond back or it's some English oil titan who's going to prepay me for "3 days escort service".

I wouldn't want someone to think I'm not responding...but if they want to see me that bad they can call too. And then, most of these yahoo responses never include a phone number (which I state on my ad to include so I know it's not spam) nor does it have any kind of description. Sometimes I wonder if men4rent does that to try and bring us back. Because I don't get it as much from BP, RB, RM or HB.
