Body looks different to me.. but the bathroom looks similar. Pictures in background look similar. Ok- I am confused and wish I could retitle my post because maybe he is not a scammer.

The ad may be a scam, but the second picture is the one that looks fake.

And having seen other pictures of the guy with the beard. There is no way those abs are his.

 

I say the first pic is real but that doesn't mean it wasn't stolen as well.

 

EDIT: Yes, the pic definitely belongs to the guy in the first picture (which doesn't mean it isn't stolen). But the guy in the first picture is a bodybuilder and photographer in Houston. There is a picture of him on his personal Facebook page holding that exact camera. And there are other pictures of him in that same bathroom. The second guy has pictures of himself in a bathroom with a female bodybuilder and it's completely different from this one.

The pictures in the ad are all the same person based on my research. They all attribute back to various Backpage ads over the last several years, only the red hoodie picture is erroneously attributed to someone else.

 

Yes, the abs are more prominent in the red hoodie pic, but that's partly due to the pose. It takes a lot of hard work, not to mention sacrifice, to maintain abs that cut at all times. I had the same personal trainer for five years. Sometimes he had cut abs other times he had a muscle gut at best. It all depended on have strictly he was following his diet.

 

It's my gut reaction that the person in the pics is the person that placed the ad. Picture thieves don't usually steal pics from a person that lives in the same place as they are posting the ad. Picture thieves don't usually get the stats correct either. However, from the ad text, I wouldn't expect much in the way of interaction from this straight guy. I'm not sure you'd get to much more than take him out to dinner and spend money on him. But he is a hot man.

Trying to save a few bucks, funny. This guy wants $200 just to allow you to pay for his dinner- then he will tell you why it won't work out, or you will simply never hear from him again. All in all a pretty good scam, $200 a pop for dinner. 3 suckers week, 52 weeks a year = 156 free meals and extra $31,200 in his pocket.

 

P.S., I hate all of the websites equally (craigslist, backpage, m4rentnow, boyscort, rentboy etc.) less than half the ads are real- what a colossal waste of time.
