In my opinion, Barack Obama has been lying to the American people since his inauguration. Here's proof of his biggest..

Given the scope of the Affordable Care Act and it's direct effect on the lives of Americans, this level of deceit is unprecedented.

Do you know your link is to a contributor's writing? What you read wasn't written by a noted scholar, economist or any other form of intelligent life on Earth. Did you do any independent research or just accept what you read because it's negative about anything the President has been supportive of? There's not enough health care money in the world to fix "dumbness" this extensive and I'm not referring to anything the President has done or said. The inaccuracies are extensive and the distortions so extreme that any time spent debunking them (particular to the OP) would only result in a longing for the minutes gone and wasted :) Jiminy Christmas man, show off an education, do some research, doubt, think, ponder and then express.

Have a nice weekend :)

My mistake, I thought I was linking directly to the National Register. I apologize..

I point was that President Obama knowingly lied about the effect of the Affordable Care Act in numerous statements that he made. "If you like your current plan, you can keep it." , "The ACA will drive down the cost of health insurance, saving the average family $2,500. a year.", "Signing up will be easy." and on and on.

You actually can keep your current plan, but there's nothing requiring your insurance company to continue offering it. That would be socialism.

It has been hilarious watching the right wing talking heads trot out sob story after sob story of people having their lives ruined by the Affordable Care Act only to find out that exercising the bare minimum of journalism skills completely blows each and every story out of the water. Every. One. Of. Them.

If it was really true that "millions of Americans are suffering" under Obamacare, shouldn't it be easy to find JUST ONE real case? It hasn't been found yet.

I don't see a dangling participle.

Just to keep the grammarians happy. The "of" is the dangling participle. Rules would have the sentence constructed as: "....negative of anything of which the President is supportive.

Personally, I love a big, old dangling participle. Makes me want to write run-on sentence after run-on sentence until every verb I know has been conjugated.

I have never seen a purplekow :)

I hope I never see one ;)

But I can tell you this and how I would rather see than be one :D

Help there is a purplekow in my mirror

Um, wow, no.

Participles are form of verbs, usually ending in -ed or -ing.

PREPOSITIONS, however, include many words that indicate direction, location, or time.

"Of" is probably the most common preposition in the English language.

This keepin'-it-real grammar moment was brought to you by the letters

T-Y-R-O.

You are quite right, the grammatical error I pointed out was ending a sentence with a preposition. There unfortunately is not a big old dangling participle lying there waiting for its subject to come forth to nimbly slide it back into a warm and correctly modifiying location.

Well, Mr. Obama changed his tune today.. again. We all remember him saying many, many times that "if you like your current plan you can keep it." NOW he says "if you like your current plan you can keep it, IF it hasn't changed." Guess what? Obamacare forces every plan to change.. I feel so violated!
