jeffla ... I wish I had something to tell you about Lohengrin, but I've only been coming to the forum since the month after he stopped showing up. Still, I've been looking at this thread for the last few days to see if you turn up any information. Your concern for Lohengrin is testimony to one of the best things that happens here: friendship. Sometimes you take that step beyond posting on the forum and enjoy your PMs with a guy you met here as much as any emails you exchange with your "real life" friends ... not least because you can talk candidly with each other about things you may not discuss with even your best friends. I know there are a few guys here that I would worry about and miss if they suddenly disappeared, but there's only one of them (so far) that I'd know how to contact outside the forum. The only thought I have for you about a "next step" is to try PMing the three guys who are listed on his profile page as Lohengrin's friends; maybe one of them knows something. Good luck to you.

Greetings everyone:

 

I received an email from forum member VHC that several people, including my friend Jeffla, were worried about my extended absence.

 

In late June I suffered a pretty serious health crisis, the details of which I will not extol upon, that left me out of commission for a goodly amount of time. Since then, I've been recovering, and, since the music world does not care about ill health, I've been struggling to regain ground there as well. I am thankful to say that I am well on the way to recovery and have a new appreciation for being once again hale and healthy.

 

I am truly touched by your concern and I will be back on the boards more regularly. Thank you again. This community really is a great one and I wish you all wonderful holidays coming up.
