Well my grandma certainly watched her "stories"... and those were in the days when some were only 15 minutes in length. She never thought that they were real... HOWEVER, she also watched wrestling along with my grandfather... and BOTH of them, based on how they yelled at the TV set, most certainly thought that it was real... However, those were the days of Bruno Sammartino... way pre WWF/WWE... when it really was the real deal! LOL!!

 

In any event, this guy looks real enough for me...
