I welcome any technology that can weed out the FAKES, but this idea seems cumbersome. It requires the person you're trying to verify to upload more face pics to the website. No escort is going to go thru that many loops to prove their identity to potential clients. Most escorts get pissy when you ask them for one simple pic to prove themselves. Imagine their reaction when you tell them to use this software to prove they are who they claim to be. I'd just use Skype if the escort is willing.

I agree with BallerBoy, I think it would be hard to get someone to participate.

 

Maybe a better approach would be to use the technology to allow escorts to "verify" their pictures in their ads. Dudesnude already uses a similar concept that allows users to verify that their pictures are really them - they send you a numeric code, then you need to send them back a picture of yourself holding up a sign with that code. Once someone compares the pictures and decides they are the same people, the listing gets a "verified" badge. The downsides with this system are (1) it requires a person to do it, so requires staffing, and (2) people can then subsequently ad new photos without those photos being verified. As long as you have at least one of your original verified photos still posted, the listing is still badged as verified. Ideally someone would verify all new uploads but that would be labor intensive. However the Truly.am technology could possibly allow this to be automated.

Way too damn much work. I just like Google Search because you can do it without causing a scene which is what this is. No one's going to put up with that BS. I know that I wouldn't anyways.
