As stated earlier, when I met with Derek in Las Vegas recently he was one of the most laid-back escorts I’ve ever hired. Hi guys I'm new to the forum but definitely not new to Daddys or the escort scene. It pains me to do this but... I had a bad experience with Derek. I was truly looking forward to meeting him as I too understand the difficulties of hiring an escort in Vegas. He was a no show with our appointment after we had confirmed it via texting/ email on Rentmen a week before. +1 I too provide the escort with a finally confirmation date. If they are coming in town, I will ask them to contact me on the day of their arrival. Any number of things can happen when doing extensive traveling these days, so I just ask that they let me know that they arrived, and that our date is still set.

 

If it is a local hire, then I ask the escort to confirm the morning of. Escorts do cancel, since traveling and or personal disruptions in their lives can happen. So realizing that, I think you have to keep all of this in perspective and just always be ready for Plan B.

I am always in text or phone contact with escorts I plan to meet a day or two before the date - whether I have met them before or not. I do understand when they have their own private or down time and so I always ask in advance "When is it good to call or text?" [They also know to generally TEXT me before calling; I will call them back if I am free to talk.] I make sure on each and every date that we have a way of MUTUALLY confirming everything a few hours in advance. So, I suppose you can say I do not relax the rule. This seems to work well for the escorts too who have the assurance of knowing I am a) in town and b) expecting them and re-confirming the address and time.

I am sorry that you went through this, but I hope you do not take any of this too personally. Escorts like many of us live busy lives and are often involved in emergencies or personal situations that just.... well just come up to no fault of anyone. From what I have read over the years, he has a stellar reputation, so perhaps it was something out of his control. Guessing what happened at this point, of course is not helpful. As I mentioned earlier, always have a plan B if you are traveling so that at least you will feel like it was not a night wasted. Unfortunately, this is a big part of why business is down for many escorts-- the whole is stained by acts of the few. Very sorry for your disappointments.

 

While others may disagree, I don't think its ok at all. There is no excuse, period, and there's even less of a chance of the excuse being true if one even gets to hear it. I assure you the escorts don't feel it's ok when the client stands them up for any reason. Also the biggest reason why you should NEVER give an escort a deposit which you have about as much chance of ever seeing again as you do winning the lottery.
