I like the term 'trick bag" myself. I EXPECT a gentlemen to bring his style of condoms and lube. Almost every gentlemen I have hired has a preference on size and style. Several times I have had a gentleman try to impress with extra large Maximum's only to be constantly interrupted during the fuck as keeps pulling it back on, or I have to go "fishing" and once turned after the umpteenth time stopping, "need a rubber band or smaller condom." Yes I know a mood killer but jeez. I do admit to a nice tight ass and do know how squeeze, but each guy is different.

While I have a couple of condoms as back up really almost all gentlemen do have preferences, even lube as I prefer gun oil which does not always jive with some condoms.

Now I recently was with some gentlemen who had everything under the sun, including poppers and Viagra. Myself, tried poppers once maybe 15 years ago almost had to run to toilet. I don't like gentlemen using it either, cant stand the smell or the taste it leaves in the mouth. But that is my choice, to each his own.

A few toys to help a gentleman open up when you have a nice big one like Mr. Bishop helps get the action going and I prefer instead of fingers. I have started bringing my own along, as it is a nice way to transition from foreplay to the main event!

I think they would be hard to explain to tsa or even in a traffic stop search.

Going back to the original question and poppers use it's good to know that poppers belong to "Schedule VI" drugs that "cover certain substances which are not "drugs" in the conventional sense, but are nonetheless abused recreationally". This is not a judgment call but rather an attempt to understand how things work.

Legal status vary greatly

Canada

The sale of poppers in any formulation has been banned in Canada. Although not considered a narcotic and not illegal to posses or use, they are considered a drug. Sales that are not authorized can now be punished with fines and prison.

European Union

Since 2007, reformulated poppers containing isopropyl nitrite are banned in Europe because isobutyl is prohibited.

France

In France, the sale of products containing butyl nitrite, pentyl nitrite, or isomers thereof, has been prohibited since 1990 on grounds of danger to consumers. In 2007, the government extended this prohibition to all alkyl nitrites that were not authorized for sale as drugs. After litigation by sex shop owners, this extension was quashed by the Council of State on the grounds that the government had failed to justify such a blanket prohibition: according to the court, the risks cited, concerning rare accidents often following abnormal usage, rather justified compulsory warnings on the packaging.

United Kingdom

In the United Kingdom, poppers are widely available and frequently (legally) sold in gay clubs/bars, sex shops, drug paraphernalia head shops, over the Internet and on markets. It is illegal under Medicines Act 1968 to sell them advertised for human consumption, and in order to bypass this, they are usually sold as odorizers.

United States

In the U.S., originally marketed as a prescription drug in 1937, amyl nitrite remained so until 1960, when the Food and Drug Administration removed the prescription requirement due to its safety record. This requirement was reinstated in 1969, after observation of an increase in recreational use.

Other alkyl nitrites were outlawed in the U.S. by Congress through the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988. The law includes an exception for commercial purposes. The term commercial purpose is defined to mean any use other than for the production of consumer products containing volatile alkyl nitrites meant for inhaling or otherwise introducing volatile alkyl nitrites into the human body for euphoric or physical effects. The law came into effect in 1990. Visits to retail outlets selling these products reveal that some manufacturers have since reformulated their products to abide by the regulations, through the use of the legal cyclohexyl nitrite as the primary ingredient in their products, which are sold as video head cleaners, polish removers, or room odorants.

Additionally to Mark Gordon's excellent word of caution one can add the following:

- If swallowed call 911 or Poison Contol.

- Contact with the skin causes irritation and rashes. Extensive use can damage the nose and lungs.

- Some people experience headaches, sensations of spinning or falling, and loss of erection.

- Poppers are highly flammable. Keep away from cigarettes, candles, and lighters.

- Studies show that poppers reduce the functioning of the immune system for several days after use.

- Because poppers cause blood vessels to open, it is easier to get an infection, including sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV.

- Poppers pose extra risks for people who have suppressed immune systems, heart problems, low or high blood pressure, a history of cerebral hemorrhaging, anemia, or are pregnant.

- Combining poppers with stimulants like speed and cocaine increases risks.

- Combining poppers and Viagra is dangerous because both cause blood pressure to drop.

- Poppers can affect your judgment. If you are planning on being intimate, put on a condom before you use them.

- To prevent spilling and evaporation, pour a small amount in a separate bottle filled with cotton and store tightly sealed in a refrigerator or freezer.

- Possession of amyl nitrite without a doctor’s prescription is illegal. Federal law bans the manufacture and distribution of butyl nitrite and related substances, although these provisions have not been enforced.
