Just interested, when the professional Gentleman is touring, and inviting his clients to his hotel room, how does this go down with hotel security and housekeeping.

Often wondered about this and often this has made me hesitate to get into this situation.

Would hate to be caught up in a this is not what the room is used for drama?

Thanks

You have a right to expect privacy

http://consumer.findlaw.com/travel-rules-and-rights/hotel-questions-and-answers.html

Is there a right to privacy in my hotel room?

Generally, yes, you have a right to expect privacy in your hotel room as long as you are using the hotel room in a normal, responsible way. However, if you are engaging in anything illegal or disturbing other guests, hotel management can enter your room without your permission.

Note that hotel management, not the police, can enter the room without your permission and hotel management cannot give the police permission to search your room. The police must go through the usual process, which usually means getting a warrant before they are allowed to search your room.

A final exception to your right to privacy is for cleaning and maintenance. Hotel management does have the right to enter your room to clean or perform necessary maintenance.

In some other thread Chris Eisenhower posted about how he pretends to be on a fake cell call when he walks past a hotel front desk. This may be from an over-abundance of caution, but it got me thinking that especially in some high end, urban hotels security and the front desk are probably aware of, and out to discourage, this type of activity since the publicity if anything ever happened could be pretty bad. I wonder how common this really is, and I suppose its much more likely to occur based on the type of escort one prefers? For example, a constant stream of twinks or body builders going to an older guest's room in tight clothing would probably be more of a problem than an older, in shape escort dressed in a business suit?

I like that, though I nor an escort I've hired has ever had a problem, or been questioned from hotel security. If I am going to hire on a trip, I stay out of the Ritz Carlton's and four Season's of the world and usually stay at a Marriott. I never hire off of CL, or with anything other than a reputable escort. Professional escorts will know how to conduct themselves in even the most discreet of circumstances.

I do often will stay at a gay B&B when I travel, like the Parker House in SF or the Royal Palms in FTL. In those instances, I will almost always let the front desk clerk on duty know that I have a paid escort arriving.

ive had guys to my room often enough and have been to others rooms without a problem,

2 may occur tho, in some hotels you need a key to get to the floor, just follow someone else in the elevator and punch your floor after they do theirs

and in the casino hotels you usually need to show your key, you may have to meet your guest at the security stand.

otherwise no one cares who you have to your room or what you are doing

In all my years of hiring I only had one minor incident. At the hotel in the Renaissance Center in Detroit, the staff made the escort call me from the lobby and walk him up, and they were giving me the fish eye; I got the impression this guy had been there before. That was the extent of the difficulty, though.

Never had a problem with security and housekeeping, but I understand that visiting the escort in his hotel room might feel awkward for a first-timer.

Have a cell phone that works and call the gentleman as you're approaching his hotel to get the room number and any special directions (if needed).

If the elevator is key-controlled, he might come down to get you in the lobby.

Agree Marriotts are fine in this respect, but my experience has been that the more upscale the property, the more libertine. Several years ago staying at the Mandarin Oriental at Columbus Circle/NYC, I had arranged for a working guy to come over at 8pm; told him I would call him with the room number once I checked in. Well, I forgot to do that, and then left my cell on vibrate so did not notice him calling me. So the front desk called my room and, very respectfully, said, "Joseph is here. May we send him up?" Yes, thank you very much. As he was all of 19, it was not unobvious what was going on. No issue at all for the hotel.

The real confirm came later that evening, when around midnight I phoned one of the Asian girl escort agencies that NYC abounds with. They sent one of their girls over, and the front desk (same staff!) gave her, and me, the very same respectful treatment.

All in sharp contrast to a stay some months later at the Waldorf, fallen pretty far from its long-gone glory days. Bathrooms mildewy, carpets & drapery frayed, lobby swarming with potbellied tourists in plaid shorts -- and service to match. I scheduled an escort for just after midnight; when he arrived in the lobby, the front desk phoned my room and, with obvious disapproval & disdain, announced, "You have a guest here. You need to come down and get him." (Elevators went to room-key-access at midnight.)

Ritz-Carltons in Puerto Rico and (of all places) Detroit were, like the Mandarin, respectful about what were, again, pretty evidently for-hire visitors to see me.

Well, now that you're dating Fluffy, all that's going to change. ;)

Seriously, I'm sure the staff at the Four Seasons is well trained in discretion. Straight guys probably bring high class girls there all the time.

I have NEVER had a problem with a guy coming to my room. Conversely, I have never experienced any difficulty going to an escort's room. One just needs to make sure that the noise level is down if after a certain hour. Otherwise, HOTEL EMOYEES HAVE SEEN IT ALL! So, there is very little about which to worry. Plus, I often stay at a property that Bill Clinton frequents, and from talking with the staff I reiterate... most hotel employees have seen it all... and in the final analysis most could care less!!!

Yeah, I always give the escort my full name so they can either verify it by calling back or if they run into any problems they can always ask front desk to call. Most experienced escorts know how to dress and carry themselves through a hotel lobby. Although If I know the hotel I am staying at has a key card policy after 11, I try to schedule my calls for earlier in the evening.

I once stayed at a posh boutique hotel in London and had an escort visit me at a normal hour like 8 pm or something. The next morning, I walk down and the concierge asks if I am enjoying London's nighttime activities and whether or not he could help me find other forms of male entertainment. Very discretely of course.

LOL...Loved this. ;) Very classy.

Had a escort visit me in Melbourne at a 5 star hotel, that was easy as the elevators were not key controlled.

Planning a visit to Singapore, my preferred hotel has 24 x7 elevator key security , so will need to meet downstairs.

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it

...in some hotels you need a key to get to the floor, just follow someone else in the elevator and punch your floor after they do theirs...

I have never had any problem with the front desk of a hotel either meeting with an escort in their room at a hotel or having them come to my hotel room when I am traveling. Most of the traveling guys who pass through my city stay at the Marriott or a place such as Holiday Inn or Extended Stay America. I have often found at these places, the desk clerk will happily greet me with a friendly hello, how are you doing? I just act like I know where I’m headed and never get questioned. I tend to stay in boutique type hotels when traveling and the only thing I’ve had to do is have the escort text me on arrival so I can go to the lobby and take him to my room if the elevator access is by key-control only.

I’ve had a couple of escorts (like geoffk mentioned) who are savvy enough to get on the restricted elevator and punch the floor right after the other guests on the elevator insert their key. In fact, my first experience with a guy from Maximum in NYC was like that. I had expected him to call my cell number so I could retrieve him from the lobby. Instead, completely not expecting it, there was a knock on my room door and there stood the most breath-taking 6’4” man, wearing a tight t-shirt and short red shorts. That was a truly hot surprise!:o Thank goodness I had given him my room number. I asked him about it later and he said he often used restricted hotel elevators like that and was also completely at ease with having both men and women stare at him, especially in his abbreviated summer clothes.

If you are visiting, dress expensively and act like you own the place. if they stop you, scold them! I'm surprised that some escorts seem to visit client's hotel dressing ummm differently like tight tight tshirts or dress like they just woke up from bed.

Good advice too. One time I was checking into a Marriott in Newport Beach with an obviously practically underage River Cameron at my side -- not registering him as a guest either -- and his being better-dressed in a drop-dead suit and dress shirt than anyone else in the lobby certainly did not hurt the optics of the situation.

In my experience of millions of hotels, what hotels don't like the most are:

1. smoking ($250)

2. pets ($10-$75)

3. dogs

4. cats

5. declined credit cards for hotel incidentals

6. Loud parties with more than 2 consenting adults

I've even read the signs on the back of the hotel door and nothing is ever mentioned about 'this' kind of stuff. I try to be nice and pull back the comforters and keep the action on a towel or the bottom sheet which are cleaned daily ;)

Once in blue moon I'll get fumbled finding the elevator and a desk clerk will ask me what the name of the guest is I'm visiting. Umm...non of your business nosy bitch. That is non of their business to even know what room you're going to. Yes, I'm going to tell her I'm there to see Bill Clinton in the penthouse suite.
